10.Pain in love

Saanjh is sitting on a empty table with a glass of soft drink in her hand.

She has distanced herself from Vihaan as she didn't want to attract attention of others towards her by staying his side.It's too much for her to handle.

While sipping her soft drink she gazed around and spotted Vihaan, surrounded by a group of people,having a good chit chat.She took a look at him from up to down.She can't help but admit that In that black tux,black tie ,formal shiny leather shoe and his hair set backwards,he is looking breathtaking and standing out in the crowd .She also noticed how the girls at the party are casting their eyes from time to time on him.

"Miss,you seems alone here."a sudden voice startled her out of the thoughts and she looked up to see a handsome man in a formal outfit, smiling at her, showing a row of white teeth.

"Do you need company?"The man asked her

"No,Thanks.I'm fine with myself."She answered and averted her gaze from that man.

"But I don't like seeing you sitting alone."He said and sat across her.

"Who are you?"She demanded, scowling at him.

"Who am I!? You're very funny."He laughed ,waving off his hand as if she was being silly.

She casted him a sincere look."I really don't know who you are."She said .

He gave her a blank stare"Are you serious?"He asked and She gave him a firm nod .

"Aah!Beautiful lady,You broke my heart. "He said dramatically while placing a hand on his chest.

She rolled her eyes at him.

"I'm surprised you don't know me.I'm Yuvi Khanna....the singer and music composer ."He introduced himself.

She took it easily"Oh,I see!"

"Yeah.By the way, I've not seen you before.Who are you with?"He asked curiosly.

"I.."Saanjh stretched her hair"I've come here with a friend."She answered.

"Oh,I see!"He mumbled.He was least interested to know whom she was with.He was interested only in her.

"So Miss,If you don't mind,May I have the pleasure of dance with you?" He asked as he put his left hand out as an offering.

She was going to reject him but before she could do,a voice spoke from behind .

"I do mind."It was Vihaan who spoke,making them startle.

Both of them tilted their head to see him standing with his arms folded across his chest.

"Excuse me?"Yuvi furrowed at him"Who are you to say 'No'? It's none of your business."

"It's definitely my business.Cause she is my girlfriend."Vihaan answered.

"Oh!"Yuvi snickered."But even if she is your girlfriend,that doesn't mean I can't dance with her."He said twisting his lips in a wry smile.

"Sorry,bro.You can't .I am very possessive about my things,you know.I don't like to share my things with anyone."Vihaan's tone changed, and the threat in his voice was suddenly much more evident as he continued"So, better than wasting your time here,You go and find someone else. "

Yuvi walked off right after,dejected.

Saanjh breathed in relief and looked at Vihaan with a smile.

"Such a clingy person he is.I wasn't understanding how to drive him away.Thanks for saving me ."She told him.
