"Hello!"

"Am I talking to Ms. Saanjh?"

"Yes.Who is it?"

"Ma'am,Do you know Mr.Avinash Mathur?"

"Yes,he is my father.Why do you ask?"

"Ma'am.I'm calling you from 'City Hospital'.Your father met with an accident an hour ago and his condition is very critical."the woman,on the other side said and Saanjh sat down on couch with a thud .

"What....What did you say?"She asked in a whisper to reconfirm as she couldn't believe her ears.

"His car fell off the cliff.He was badly injured when he was brought to our hospital by some locals.We got your number from his phone and called you to inform."

Saanjh didn't waste a second and  rushed to the hospital.On her way to the hospital she informed her mother .She even called Vihaan but his phone was switched off, so she couldn't inform him right then.

"We are sorry.We tried our best but we couldn't save him."The doctor informed,coming out from the operation theatre and this news fell like a thunder on Saanjh and her family .

Saanjh's family broke into tears while Vihaan and his family consoled them.

Saanjh was broken and shattered after her father's sudden death.At that time Vihaan helped her to overcome her grief.Not only her,he took care of her mother and her brother,Tarun as well.

In the meantime,The police invested the accident but they didn't find any specific reason behind the accident.So the police closed the case,stating that Avinash perhaps lost his control over the car and that caused the car fell off the cliff.

The police report didn't make sense to Saanjh,though.Because she knew her father was very skilled in driving on hilly roads.He has been driving on that road for around 20 years.How could he lost control over his car and it fell off the cliff?

For a benefit of doubt, she might've believed the police if his father hadn't called her just before the accident .That phone call ,his father's nervous voice and that urgent meet up, made her suspicious about the whole thing.She'd a feeling that his father's accident had something to do with the thing that her father was gonna tell her.And Saanjh swored to find out the truth that caused her father's death.

She hired a detective and started secret investigation.While investigating she found out something that made her question Vihaan.She got to know that on the day of the accident,after talking to her,Avinash had called Vihaan .Saanjh didn't understand why he'd never mention anything about it .So she decided to ask the answers from him to clear her mind.

"Vihaan,I have something to ask you."Saanjh said,her eyes were intense deep.

"Hmm."He nodded, looking up from the laptop screen and meeting her gaze.

"Why didn't you tell me that my father had called you on the day of the accident?"She demanded.

"Because I didn't know about it either .I got to know recently while going through my call history."Vihaan answered.

"You mean you never talked to him?"She asked again,her gaze hardened.

"No.That day I was in an important business meeting and my phone was in silent mood.So I couldn't receive his call and that's why I couldn't answer your call either."Vihaan said.
