Logan woke up in the morning on Declan's birthday. He quickly jumped out of his bed and picked up his phone. He thought for a second and then quickly typed
"Will you meet me at the clubhouse after school?"
He then got up and went to get dressed and do his morning routine.
"Of course, but why??"
Logan read the text and just smiled, slipping the phone into his pocket. He went downstairs and packed a lunch box. He made Declan's favorite kind of sandwitches and cut them into little squares. Then he made a baggie of Declan's favorite chips and put them in as well. He finished it off by putting in some orange slices and a waterbottle. He zipped up the lunchbox and then he left for school.
School went by so slowly for Logan, who was so excited to get to the clubhouse after school to celebrate Declan's birthday. At lunch, he gave him the lunchbox he had packed and Declan was so happy, which made Logan even happier.
After school, Logan rushed home and grabbed Declan's birthday present. He went to leave but was stopped by his parents.
"Logan, come here please." His mother said from the kitchen. Logan huffed a bit but went into the kitchen. Both of his parents were sitting at the kitchen table.
"Sit down." His father said. Logan looked between the two of them very confused.
"Did someone die?" He asked, immediately thinking the worst.
"No, Logan, nobody died." His mother said.
"We just need to tell you something. It's good news." His father said.
"Your father got a great job offer in London and after a lot of discussion, we decided to move to London. Your father will leave this weekend to begin his job and we will start packing and try to get to London in two weeks." She said. Logan's eyes widened.
"What?! No! I can't just leave! I have friends here- and a boyfriend! You can't make me leave now!" He said, standing up quickly.
"We are sorry Logan, but this job is the best thing to happen to your dad since he lost his last one" his mother explained. Logan scoffed.
"And Declan is the best thing to ever happen to me. He loves me and he is so kind and caring. I can't leave him. Why would I want to leave the one person who actually cares for me?! You two are barely even home! I'll be completely alone in London." Logan said, burying his face in his hands. His parents looked at eachother.
"There's no way around it, Logan. You'll make new friends, and maybe even meet someone better." Logan looked up and just shook his head abd scoffed again.
"I can't talk about this right now." He said and grabbed his stuff before quickly leaving.

Declan had arrived at the club house and was waiting patiently for Logan. After about 20 minutes of Logan not being there, he started to get worried. Was Logan standing him up on his birthday? Theres no way Logan would do that.
...Right?
Declan began pacing around the small space and cracking his knuckles. After a couple more minutes, Logan came in. He quickly kissed Declan's cheek and smiled.
"Happy birthday, Dec." He smiled and handed him the box. Delcan opened it up and pulled out a book. "Its a scrap book. The first couple of pages have pictures of us in it, but the rest are blank so that we can fill it up together." Logan said. He suddenly felt a wave of sadness. How were they supposed to fill it up with Logan in London. He felt tears start falling and he quickly wiped them.
"Oh, Logan, this is amazing. I can't wait to fill it up with so many pictures of us!" Declan said, right before noticing Logan's tears.
"Oh, Lo, what's wrong?" He asked, setting the book aside and pulling Logan into a hug. Logan buried his face in Declan's chest and sobbed. Declan rubbed his back and comforted him.
"I-I'm sorry, Dec. I didn't wan-want to tell you this yet... My... my dad got a job offer and hes accepted it... I have to move to... to... um... London..." Logan explained, through the tears. Declan's eyes widened
"London!? That's so far away, Logan!" He said. Logan wiped at his face.
"I know, and there's nothing that I can do about it. My parents said that I would be fine there and that I'd find new friends... but I don't want anyone but you, Declan." He said. Declan nodded and wiped his tears. He pulled him in for a kiss and then leaned their foreheads together.
"We will get through this. I promise you we will get through this." Declan said. Logan sniffled and hugged him tightly.
"I sure hope so..."
