Bubbles loved animals. She loved them a lot.

Every night when she went to bed, she would find a new animal laying on her windowsill. But these animals were not like the ones she loved. Necks broken, eyes glistening, these animals were dead.

So she started seeing squirrels everywhere. Dead squirrels. When the girls screamed at the dead rodents laying around, Bubbles looked around for whoever would leave them.

Everywhere she went, a dead animal followed.

At one point she didn't think anyone was following her, maybe she was magical? She could kill animals around her!

But...then they tried to communicate.

It was the most grotesque thing she'd ever seen. Words carved into the back of a dead squirrel.

'Hello Bubbles. How are you?'

"I-I'm good. How are you?"

It would be three days later until she would get a reply. This time in a swing set. The squirrel had writing on it.

'I'm doing good, now that your here.'

"That's good. Uhm, Mister? Can I see you someday?"

Mistake. Big mistake. This wasn't something Blossom or Buttercup would do. This was bad. And dangerous.

Six days later she found one bleeding all over her pillow. She told her dad she was on her period early.

'I'd love to visit you my love.'

Bubbles froze. She didn't reply. The squirrel man had never been scary to her. He'd just always existed. Another factor in life. Now though, he sounded angry. Possessive.

'I loved the dress your wearing. Don't wear it to school.'

'Don't hang out with him. Spend your time with me.'

'Tell your dad your sick and stay home with me.'

Soon, she started defying him. He hated when she wore tight clothes, so that's what she did. He hated when she talked to boys. So she got a boyfriend.

She really, really liked Jacob. Maybe even loved him.

"Girls, I think I love him!" She'd said one day.

She'd forgtten he was always listening. And he only wanted her to love him.

The next squirrels neck wasn't snapped, his head had been ripped clean off.

'You only love ME!'

She threw it out the window, and at that second her sisters rushed in.

They wouldn't let her look at the news. Wouldn't tell her what was going on. Police were always patrolling her house.

One day, she got pictures.

It was Jacob. Clearly Jacob. With his neck snapped and shirt ripped off. Somebody had carved the words 'Bubbles' into his torso with a knife.

Bubbles threw up twice that day.

'Don't you love me?'

She wouldn't speak. Not if he could hear what she said. He'd always held some power over her, and not until now did she realize how severe it was.

'I love you. I love you a lot.'

Buttercup had discovered the squirrel first. She took it to the police.

Now five police officers watched her everyday. Her sisters and father stood guard for the creepy stalker.

But he was everywhere.

One day she went to sleep, and when she woke up, she wasn't in bed.

"H-hello? Oh my god... LET ME GOO!" She screamed.

Somebody stroke her face beforehand kissing her cheek.

"Hello Bubbles," he whispered, "I'm Boomer."

She didn't like this. She didn't want him.

But he was everywhere. So she would comply. For now.

"H-hello Boomer. Did you bring a squirrel today?"

His blue eyes lit up like an excitable child's.

"No, but I brought a rabbit!"
