After the monstrosity that was the last Boomubbles oneshot, I've decided that the best way around is to give Bubbles a happy detective story!

"So, who are you again?"

The blonde girl stroked her thumb with her index finger, and twirled her ponytail with the other. Ever since she came into the interrogation room, the little girl hadn't stopped moving her hands.

"I'm, well, Bubbles. Bubbles Holmes."

She extended her trembling left hand out and smiled.

The man only scoffed.

"Like the detective guy? Uhh, Sherlock Holmes? You a detective missy?"

"No, no. You see, Blossy's the detective. I'm actually a pediatrician. I like kids."

The cop huffed at this and decided he would begin. Smacking his fists on the table to show emphasis. Most hardened criminals would keep a stoic face, or even smirk, laugh, cackle.

This kid, Bubbles, winced and started rubbing his fists.

"The he-? Wha-?" He gasped.

"Oh my gosh don't do that! Emphasis is not worth a sprained wrist!"

She kept on going, "but besides that, I'm gonna just tell you now, I'm innocent."

"Is that so? Why don't you tell me why? And why are you not in cuffs?"

"Well...."

Seven Hours Ago...

"Okay Mrs. Marcos, Marla is in perfec- Oh, will you let me take this?"

Bringing the phone to her ear, she hissed to her caller.

"What Blossom? I'm busy right now!"

"No, no, no. Hush, I'm dead remember? And your not too busy. Marla is perfectly okay, and Mrs. Marcos is about to become a Ms..."

"Blossom."

"Okay, okay! Don't hang up dearest sister! So, there is this case I have and I need help."

"Solving it? If you can't, then why do you think I can?"

"I've already solved it, dearest sister. There's just the slight complication of me having to go and collect evidence."

"Great, now if you will excuse me... Mrs. Marcos has a check up."

"Wai-!"

Turning back to her baffled patients, she smiled, "Now where were we? Oh right."

Sighing, Bubbles inserted the key into the lock and paused as she stared at the blinds drawn over the windows. How fun.

Stepping in, she called out, "Blossom! What do you want?"

Sitting on her couch was her eldest, and prominently dead, sister Blossom Holmes.

"If you would've left me finish my sentence, I cannot collect evidence because I'm dead! The Brick Moriarty case, remember? Now, I've taken the liberty of taking a couple days off your work and rescheduled all your current appointments, as well as that date you were supposed to go to. Don't bother, he wasn't over his ex-boyfriend and is trying to pretend he's straight."

"Bu-"

"The address you need to go to will be texted to your in twelve seconds if you don't interrupt me, and I suggest you bring a gun."
