A Not so Nice Deku || Deku X Reader

The battle pt.2

I turned back to normal and looked at him. I just stared. My face was plastered with horror and disbelief. "W-why? Why did you attack me?" I started to walk towards him. You're not, you're not a villain are you? Those words tasted so bitter coming out of my mouth. He didn't say anything but smirked. I stepped back in shock. He didn't deny it. He, he's changed. He's not the Deku I know, they've changed him into this horrible monster of a person; just as bad as the nomus, if not worse. I thought he cared for me. Tears started to form in my eyes as I looked at him. For a split second I could see the pain and hurt in Deku's eyes but, went back to the evil crooked smile. I know he's in there. Deep down, he's still the nice, shy, funny Deku everyone loves. I laughed to myself. "What's so funny Y/n. Laughing at how gruesome you death is going to be?" Shinigami laughed at his remark. "I was thinking the same thing." I spat out right after he laughed. He looked at me annoyed at how fast I said that. "Let's just get this over with." He tans towards me, green sparks flying everywhere. I quickly shifted to a fly for a smaller target for him. I flew towards him and changed to a Cheetah and lunged myself at him. He moved to his left so, I only nicked him on the arm with my claw. I jumped towards me again but I dogged. I ran, still as a cheetah towards him and jumped up to pin him. "Why are you doing this!" I screamed. "Why you ask! Because, they promised a better life, a better world, better people! My life was horrible, I was bullied, beat up, harassed, taunted, loved ones taken away! You have no idea how much pain I've been through! So, when they offered something better, of course I took it!" I tear fell from his face. "I TOOK IT! I took it! I took it. I-I took it." He fell to the ground crying. He was in pain. He was suffering and nobody, not even All Might new he was suffering so much. I didn't know what to do but run over to him and hug him. I cried on his shoulder as he cried on the ground. "I can help you. But, you need to talk to me. Don't hide it inside you. Talk, tell me what you're feeling. I want to know what pain you're in, I want to help." He looked up at me and smiled. Not that evil crooked smile once before, but this soft smooth bright smile that Deku has. The Deku I knew and loved. "You k-know, I was t-told to kill you." He said in between hiccups for air from crying so much. I laughed, "Well, that didn't really work out." I smiled. "I am a villain still. I will forever be too. How do you feel about that? I could never fight beside you now." "That's okay. At least you're alive right?" "Yeah, haha. I guess you're right." We both got up and walked towards the stairs when we realized that the villains and hero's where still fighting. We looked at each other and worried on what we would do to stop this and tell everyone. "What do we do now?" I asked Deku. "I have no idea."
