HUNTER'S POV

These past few days have been busy with the gang, that I have not had the chance to see Mia. I have been meaning to ask her about why she has Toby, I mean there has to be something every time he calls her "mommy" her eyes get so sad looking. I need to see her as well but it's a bad idea with the gang and all.

There was a knock at the door and Sammie yelled for me to come.

"What is it Sammie?" I asked

"Oh well Laurie is here with Toby and I wanted to let you know I'm going to dads right now to have a talk, Seth is taken me. I think I'm staying at dads for the weekend. So I'll see you Sunday night. LOVE YOU!" I stand there a little confused and then I snap out of it and yell back "love you too and be careful"

I turned my attention on Laurie and Lil man.

"Hello Laurie...what's up Lil man?" I asked.

"Hey Hunter I have to ask you a favour, Mia does not get off for another 2 hours and I really need to go into work and help out but I can't bring Toby with me. Do you think he can stay with you till Mia gets home....please?"

she was really asking me to watch Toby. They have only known me for a week and what about the gang, they trust me...oh but they have no clue I'm a gang member...but I'm not only a gang member I'm the son of the most powerful gang leader...

"Ummm sure, but do you think Mia will get mad...I mean I don't want to upset anyone...." Why should it matter if I upset her, it shouldn't that's why....

"No she will be fine I'm going to text her and let her know but can I give her your number just in case also I'll give you hers.....and thank you so much..." Laurie said.

We exchanged numbers and she took off. What am I suppose to do now?

"Hey lil man would you like to watch a movie and eat some popcorn?" I mean there has to be a kids movie on the TV right?

"Sure Daddy...maybe when mommy comes and gets me we can watch one too!" Toby was so excited so I told him to sit on the couch and I went to make some popcorn.

An hour and 45 minutes later, Lil man passed out watching the movie Cars and I just began watching the 2nd one when there was a knock on the door. Since lil man was sleeping on my lap I picked him up and went to the door.

MIA'S POV

When the door opened I saw Hunter holding a sleeping Toby-bear and my heart melted.

"Hey, I'm so sorry you had to watch him if I would of known I wouldn't of told my boss I would stay late." I had to apologize I mean poor Hunter I'm sure he would of much rather do something else than watch a 3 years old boy.

"It's no problem we had a good time, watched a movie had a popcorn fight which I think tired him out. I also gave him dinner so I think he is out for the night." Hunter said with a proud smile, a really nice smile may I add.

"Well thank you...can I ask a favour? Could you take him in my apartment and put him in his bed if you can I will make some dessert since you have already ate dinner?" I said hoping he would say yes.

"Sure, I can do that, and dessert sounds great!" Hunter replied with a smile.

I went and unlocked my door and Hunter took Toby to his room. I went into the kitchen and pulled out everything for a hot fudge sundae. I made two and went to sit down on the couch next to Hunter.

"Here you go. So what have you been up to these past couple of days?" I handed his sundae to him while asking.

"Ummm nothing really just working here and there the usual..." Hunter said. The usual huh what does that mean? And working here and there? I'm so lost.
