Chapter Fifteen

MIA'S POV

 

  "Yes Hunter I am pregnant with twins...we are having twins!" I told him and his eyes opened wide and jaw dropped to the floor.  I stood there wondering how he was feeling about this.  Did he even want one kid let alone two at the same time?  Did he really love me like he says he does?   I should probably turn and run.

"Hunter say something?"

"I-We-I-um don't know w-what to s-say"  He paused and looked at me with a smile "I mean...I thought I was happy before knowing that you was pregnant with one child but now I'm going to have two...I love you Mia" He managed to choke out

"I love you too...but do you think we can get out of here I would really like a bath and some rest in a nice big comfy bed with no chains...well I guess there could be chains if used by you"  I smirked at Hunter as his eyes widened once again

"Mia baby lets get you home and tomorrow I will have our family friend come and take a look  and make sure everything is OK with you and the babies...specially if your going to be making comments like that"  Hunter grabbed me and lead me to the car before continuing "I'm going to run in and let my father know that I am taking you home oh and by the way I am not taken you to your apartment" 

   Well I was a little confused.  I knew he wouldn't be taking me to the apartment since it was now Bianca's, so maybe he is taken me to his fathers but that's not my home.  Technically I am homeless.  Maybe he is talking about his apartment.  Maybe he wants me to live there with him because of the babies.  I was broken from my thoughts when Hunter got into the driver side.

"Baby don't think about it too had you will find out soon about your new home but first lets put this on shall we"  Hunter pulled out a blind fold and slipped it over my eyes before  it in a tying bow at the back of my head.

    The drive was quiet.  It was not awkward in any way.  Just quiet and nice I can't wait to get where we are going.  I sat there listening to the radio which one of my favorite songs was one "Hopeful Romantic by This Century" was on and I started singing.  I heard Hunter chuckle from beside me and it made me laugh as well.  after about 20 minutes my eyes got heavy and I was soon asleep.

   When I guess we got there Hunter was telling me to wake up.  I finally did and he helped me out of the car.  We took a few steps and Hunter said "Are you ready for one of your surprises?

"Wait one of my surprises? There is more than one?"

"Yes Mia baby, I want to make sure you like this one first before I give you the next one..now are you ready?"  Hunter said

"Yes, I am ready"  As I said this Hunter took off my blind fold

   When I could finally see what was in front of me, I stood there in shock.  It was a beautiful house.  It was quite big, OK big is not the word I would use lets try insanely humongous...yeah that's more like it.  I know what your thinking that's not just a word its two words but that is what it is.  "This house is yours?" I asked Hunter still taking in the house

"Well not exactly"  Hunter said

"What do you mean not exactly" I said while I turned to face him

"Well the Realtor is in there waiting on us to make a decision."

"Us?" I said turning back to the house

"Yes, us I want this to be our home together" As Hunter said this I was turning to face him again and I notice that he was not standing anymore but kneeling.

HUNTER'S POV

   "Yes, us I want this to be our home together"  As I said this I got down on one knee and took out the black velvet box and waited for her to turn back around to face me.  When she did I saw her face light up...I took her hand and began to speak nervously.

"Mia I know we have not been together long.  but I know that I love you with everything in me.  There has been a lot of drama and I think its time that not only you but Toby as well get the life you both deserve.  I want to be apart of that." I paused to see if anything in her face gave me the answer I wanted but nothing so I just continued "Mia I love you and want to spend the rest of my time with you and our babies...Mia Harper Will you please do me the honor in being my wife...Will you marry me?"

"Hunter that was-" she sighed "Yes Hunter...Yes and million times Yes!"

   I slid the ring onto her finger and stood up while I wrapped her into my arms being careful with her belly and pressed my lips to hers.  We stood there kissing for some time when we finally broke apart for some air.  I looked at her smiling up at me and told her "I love you, so what do you say we take a look at the inside of the house and make a decision on it, so we can get you that bath"

"How about we just sign the d*mn papers and get that bath"  She said with a wink and turned to walk towards the door.

   As we walked into the house the Realtor greeted us and we went right into the kitchen to sign the papers as soon as that was done I helped Mia get her bath ready and then told her that I had to make a phone call.  She got in and instantly looked relaxed.  I stepped out and walked downstairs to call Seth.

  As soon as I called Seth and arranged everything for tomorrow.  I was getting excited but I had to tell him I would call tomorrow with the times because I want to get Dr. Klove here to see Mia first.  So after I talked to Seth, I immediately called Dr. Klove and made a appointment for him to come see Mia and our new house.  After that was done I went up to find Mia already asleep in out new king size bed.

   I hope she gets plenty of rest because I am not done with my surprises just yet.
