Chapter Sixteen

 

MIA'S POV

 

   I woke up with Hunters hands on my belly, which made me grin from ear to ear.  I really needed to do my morning business but didn't want to wake Hunter.   I was saved by his  going off.  That's when I noticed it was already almost noon.  I guess I really needed the sleep.  I heard Hunter mumble and then he answered his phone.  "Hello...Sh*t what time is it?...oh OK we will see you in 45 minutes...yes my fiance will be ready...OK bye"

   Awe he called me his fiance...which I know that I am but to hear it just made my heart flip!  I looked at him and smiled.

"We need to get ready, Dr. Klove will be here in 45 minutes"  Hunter smiled and kiss my forehead

"OK my fiance lets go shower"

   After our shower and a quick breakfast Dr. Klove showed up with lots of stuff.  You would think he thought I was ready to give birth.  After we said our hellos, Dr. Klove set everything up.  Once he was done I sat on the table and pulled my shirt up so he could put the cold jelly on.  After a little while we heard our babies heart beating wildly.  He confirmed the due date and also said that I was a little under weight for being 5 months. 

"Is everything going to be OK...what do we have to do?"  Hunter asked in worry

"Its fine Hunter its quite normal with everything that has been going on, she has been under a lot of stressed.  We will get her to a good weight"  Dr. Klove said  "Now within a month or two we might be able to tell the sex of the babies, but it is to early now"

"Wow I am not sure if I want to know...I mean it would be a nice surprise.  What do you think Hunter?"

"I think we decide that once that  appointment comes"  Hunter smiled

"OK I agree...I love you!"

"Love you too"

   After Dr. Klove printed some pictures for us and gave me a list of stuff to do and some prenatal vitamins, Hunter told me he needed to get some things done and Laurie and Toby would be here to keep me company in a little while.  Before he left he made me promise not to show or tell Laurie about the twins or the engagement.  I thought that was a little strange ut I told him I wouldn't.

   Laurie and Toby showed up and I showed Toby his new room which he loved.  Laurie got a phone call and disappeared.  I was on the floor playing with Toby.  I have missed him so much.  That's when Toby asked "Mommy whats wrong with your belly?"

"Toby-bear, Hunter and I are going to have a baby!"

"Oh tats cool" He said as he started playing again.

  Laurie walked in and asked if we was hungry and I looked at her with a "are you kidding me look"  I'm pregnant for Pete's sake!  We decided to go out and get something to eat.  We ended up at Sonic.  Which is great because I was so hungry.  We spent about an hour eating and then decided to go do some shopping because my belly was growing and my clothes did not fit as well.  We spent about two more hours shopping.  Then Hunter called and said we should get home because he had another surprise for me.

   We got home and I was tired.  Hunter noticed and told me to nap and he would wake me up in an hour to get ready.

HUNTER'S POV
