Chapter Seventeen

HUNTER'S POV

  When I woke up the next morning I noticed Mia was not in bed and I started to to worry.  That's when I jumped out of bed and started to look everywhere.  I went into the bathroom and she was not there.  When I cam into the room I noticed Seth standing there with a huge grin.  "Stop worrying Laurie and Toby took Mia for a walk, Dr. Klove said it would be OK" Seth said

"I thought I lost her again...I just about had a heart attack"

"Well she is fine and so are the three little ones.  Dr. Klove said he would be back to talk to you and Mia shortly."

    I decided to take a shower and change.  Seth brought me some new clothes to change into thank goodness.  As soon as I stepped out of the bathroom Toby ran up to me.  I picked him up and walked over and gave Mia a kiss on her forehead.  While Seth was telling Mia and Laurie how I freaked out this morning.  They all had a good laugh.  After a while Dr. Klove came in.  "Mia, Hunter I have some good news for you both!"  Dr. Klove said

"Really what is it?"  Mia asked

"Well all three babies are doing great and we think that it would be OK to go home as long as you don't climb the stairs and you relax just like you would here...I will come over every other day to check on you and the babies."

"That's great.  So when can we actually go home?" I asked

"Well today I am having the nurse get your discharge papers ready"  Dr. Klove said

   I turned and looked at Toby and said "You here that Toby we are going home today!"  I kiss his head and he just looked at me and smiled.  After we got the papers and Mia signed them.  We headed home but of course we had to stop for food.  Of course it had to be Sonic. That is what Mia has been craving.  Why you ask...I am not sure.

   After ordering everything off the menu for Mia we went home.  I made sure she had everything she needed.  I picked up Toby and crawled in bed with Mia.  We decided to just make it a movie day with Toby.  I told Toby that tomorrow will be a Toby and Hunter day and he got so excited.  Laurie June and Brittany are coming over to take care of Mia.

   A few weeks later and it was almost time to go back to the hospital. We are suppose to be there tomorrow morning at 6:30 to get induced. Mia is nervous and so am I. Dr Klove had already explain all the risks and because she has three babies the risks are three times as high. He also told us everything will be fine. The babies will only be 3 weeks earlier. 

  Seeing tomorrow is going to be a busy day and looking at Mia looking so uncomfortable, I called in a few people to give her a spa day at home.  While she was relaxing I took Toby to go shopping.  Everywhere Toby and I went people would stop us and say "Awe he is so cute, is he your only one?"  I would laugh and Toby being Toby would say "I'm not tute and no we having tripwets!!!"  The people would laugh and simple say "Awe he is to cute".

  Wants we got home I put Toby down for a nap.  Then I went to lay down myself.  Once I finally let my eyes win and sunk into a deep sleep I was awaken by a loud scream.  I jumped out of bed and darted to where the scream came from.  Once I located Mia,I looked at her hunched over grabbing her belly.  I panicked and ran over to her.

"Mia baby, are you OK?  Whats wrong?"

"Aggggghhhhhhhhhhh"  Mia screamed

MIA'S POV

    I was sitting there after all the spa people left feeling in total relaxation.  I started to get this sharp pain in my back.  I stood up and started towards the kitchen to get a glass of water.   As soon as I got there I felt like I peed myself.  I felt embarrassed but no one was around so I just started to clean it up when the pain tensed causing me to scream. "Aaaagggghhhhhhhhh"  I heard foot steps coming towards me a few minutes later and saw Hunter out of the corner of my eye.

"Mia baby, are you OK? Whats wrong?"  Hunter asked

"Aggggghhhhhhhhhhh" 

"Mia I'm calling Dr. Klove"  Hunter said with worry

"OK.  Tell him I am going into labor and you are taken me to the hospital now"

"Wha-wait your what?"  Hunter stuttered

"Labor.Hospital.Now" I yelled

   About 6 hours later and I am still in labor.  Dr. Klove came in again to check on me and my little ones.  He looked at us and said he will be right back.  A few minutes later he came back with a sonogram machine.  I looked at him and got worried.

"Mia I am going to take a look here because the boys heart beats are still in sync.  I need to make sure baby B is OK."

"What if he is stressed again?"  Hunter asked I was in to much pain to talk

"Well then we are going in for a emergency c-section"

   After a Dr. Klove said that everything looked good but he still suggested a c-section.  I looked at Hunter and nodded.  I wanted my babies to be safe and I new that that is what had to happen.  Dr. Klove left to get prepared while some nurses came and took me to prepare me and another nurse took a worried looking Hunter.

   After getting prepared Dr. Klove told me how it was going to work.  Dr. Klove was getting ready to start when I screamed "Wait  Hunter is not here.  I need him with me."

"Umm Mia I'm right here!"  Hunter chuckled.  I looked up and there he was.  I didn't recognize him in the scrubs the nurse told him he needed to wear. 

    After a while I heard little cries.  Alexander was born first weighing at 6lbs 2oz.  Brice was second weighing at 5lbs 12oz and Charlotte was last weighing 5lbs 4oz.  They were all healthy and beautiful.  Hunter brought the boys over and I gave them each a kiss.  While a nurse brought Charlotte over so I could kiss her as well.  The nurses took the babies for their baths while hunter went with them.  I was stuck getting fixed myself. 

   They brought me back to my room where Hunter and our three angels was.  I was so tired that I couldn't keep my eyes opened.  but I had to feed my babies and because I had three I decided to bottle feed as well as breast feed.  After all feedings was done we all took a nice nap.

HUNTER'S POV

   When I woke up my dad was sitting there staring at the boys while he held Charlotte.  I walked up to him and smiled.  He just looked so happy.  He asked how Mia was doing and I just pointed and laughed at how cute she looked.  After a while of talking with dad he finally left.  Mia woke up and feed the babies while I changed all the diapers.  Yes know how sweet.

   We stayed in the hospital a couple of days and today we get to go home.  I had Laurie and Seth decorate our home with welcome home signs and balloons to surprise Mia.  While we was in the hospital we set a date for the wedding.  It will be a year from now.  We decided to get married on the day Mia's parents did. 

   When we got home Mia was excited and tired.  She took Toby and Charlotte up to our room to watch a movie.  Laurie went with them and Seth stayed downstairs with me and the boys.  I looked around and thought to myself I couldn't be any happier.
