The bell rang. My classmates hurriedly went out the door for break time. I was too preoccupied with my thoughts that I didn't paid attention to the discussion.

I saw Stella glanced at me before going out but I didn't moved a bit. When everybody's out, I decided to go out too.

I ordered lunch in the cafeteria and went straight to my usual table but immediately stopped when I saw it was already taken. Just when about to find another space, someone grabbed me.

"Sit," she ordered and smiled. I just sighed.

"Thanks."

"I saw you entered. I was calling you but you seem so oblivious in your environment so I followed you instead." Alec explained.

I glanced at the occupied table I used to eat and sighed. Okay, time to let go of our spot, Ashley.

"You want to sit there instead?" She pouted so I shrugged.

"No. It's just that... I-I used to eat there w-with-," She tapped my hands and smiled. Maybe she felt my uneasiness.

"I like this spot. Pretty far from shits," she said bitterly and glanced sideward so I followed her line of sight.

Evan Salvador is sitting across a girl. They seem so comfortable talking to each other, They laugh every now and then. I look at Alec and she's still looking at them with teary eyes.

"Stop staring." I said and starts eating. She was shocked for a while, maybe because she didn't expect me to speak. She awkwardly started eating too.

"That's m-my ex-bestfriend," she said out of the blue. She sighed and smiled bitterly. I glanced at the girl. She's now eating silently while Evan's craning his neck like he's looking for someone. He stopped and stared on our direction. Alec's back on her food so she didn't noticed it. I look back at Evan and he was startled when he noticed I was staring straight at him. I just shrugged and continued eating too.

"I'm done. Shall we go?" Alec asked when she finished her food. I nodded.

We attended classes, separately. The day went on and I don't know why I am spacing out. I was called by my Philosophy teacher, I didn't heard it and I just found my classmates laughing. I felt my cheeks turned red from the embarrassment.

Dismissal.

Like what I always do, I waited everyone to go out before I exit too.

"Cleared," I monologued before going out but...

"What cleared?"

"Holy Shit!" I cursed.

"H-holy what?" His brow shot up. I rolled my eyes and started walking.

"Didn't I say that I don't want to see you, again?" I glared at him but he didn't mind.

"Oh come on! Can't you just be thankful because you're with me? You don't have someone to talk to so I guess I just saved your pretty face," he said while walking.

I can't believe it! This handsome creature have the guts and I hate it. I was about to rebut but i noticed how my schoolmates stared at us like we're some weird shits. I slightly bowed my head. Damn!

"Deal with it. I like hanging around with you," he chuckled.

"Shut up!" I hissed and walked faster. I thought he'll follow me but he stopped. I fought the urged to look back. Good, girl.

"Hey, Asher." Alec greeted as I entered our room. She's sitting on the floor while eating some chips. She offered me some but I refused.

"Ain't hungry,"
