Chapter 4

3 years later

Katniss POV
Me and Finnick and his new wife Anne are at the airport waiting for Peeta.
He had to go to district 12 because he was hijacked. He was kidnapped and was told that I was a threat nobody knows who did this but when he came back he tried to kill me. A month before it happened he told me he loved me since five and we became a couple.

So now here we are waiting for him. "There he is.",says Anne. And sure enough there he stand staring at me with the most biggest smile. He drops his bag and run towards me and I run towards him and he picks me up. I bring my lips to he's and sparks fly. He then says those words I missed I love you. "Peeta what are you doing?"
"Who are you?",I ask.
"I'm Delly soon to be Delly Mellark. I'm Peeta's fiancé."

I stare at Peeta then at Delly. I then nod my head at Delly and say, "Bye Peeta." "what do you mean bye Katniss were are you going I thought you cared about me.",says Peeta with so much love and sadness that he had tears running down his cheeks and looks like he is about to have a total meltdown.

I kiss him on the lips and say my last a finally words to him. "That's why I'm leaving Peeta because I can't get hurt twice and you love Delly I'm doing what's best for me and for us. It's best if we never see each other and that we never think of each other. But I want you to know I will love you till the day I or you die no matter what.",I kiss him and turn on my heel and leave him there with my words still hanging in the air.

I say bye to Anne and Finnick. Finnick knows I'm not coming back. As I'm about to leave the airports doors Finnick comes running to me hugs me while sobbing. I look at him kiss his forehead and leave. And then I hear it sobbing screaming and Peeta screaming my name and sobbing then I know why and before I know it its to late no where to go I turn around smile and mouth I love you Peeta then everything goes black.
