chapter 5

Delilah
I woke up to the sound of my alarm and the sun shining on my face.

I turned off the alarm covered my whole body including my face to stop the sun from blinding me.

I stayed like that for sometime before the memories of last night came flooding back.

I'm going out with Edgar.

The memory of last night came flashing and I quickly jumped out of bed.

I ran to the bathroom and looked into the mirror and God I looked awful,actually awful is an understatement I looked like I got attacked by a raccoon.

I quickly washed the makeup from yesterday off and I managed to straightened out my birds nest of a hair.

I showed and wore a camo top, black ripped jeans, my white converse and a black cap.

I rushed downstairs where my mom already was making what I assumed to be pasta.

I walked up to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"Morning mom"

"Morning Darling"

"Where's dad?"

"He already left. He said he had a really Important meeting to attend so he left but he said I should tell you to have a nice day at school"

"Alright"

I grabbed a plate and grabbed the cereal box but before I could make my cereal my mom asked.

"What are you doing I'm already making pasta won't you eat it?"

"Sorry mom I wish I could but I'm in a hurry but I promise I'll eat as much as you want me to when I get back OK?"

"Alright"

I made my cereal and ate it once I was done I went to the sink and washed it then I kissed my mom a goodbye and ran to my car.

I drove to school feeling nervous about the day ahead of me I hoped that it went well.

I was now in my chemistry class sitting and going through my phone waiting for the bell to ring and class to begin when the door of the class opened I turned my head to see Edgar standing at the door.

He's early? That's new

I went back to what I was doing until I heard foot steps beside me and I already knew who it was before u even looked up.

"Good morning Delilah"

I froze did Edgar just greet me? What the fuck is happening are we in some kind of alternate world?

I pushed back the surprise before Edgar who was currently searching through his bag could notice and think I was being rude.

"Morning Edgar" I mumbled out

Just then the bell rang and I thought.

Saved by the bell.

Mrs heartwell came in and started the class and for the first time I didn't pay attention to the teacher.

All I could think about was the "outing" or "date" I was having with Edgar tonight.

The day went by quickly and I dreaded every minute it moved cause that means that my umm I don't even know what to call it but that meant I had to spend the night with Edgar.

Not like I hate it it's just my nerves

I Was already nervous enough but then Edgar decided to add to it.

"Hey Delilah"

"Hey Edgar how are you"

"I'm good just wanted to tell you that I'm picking you up at 9:00 so get ready"

"OK"

"Alright see you tonight and by the way what movie do you want to watch?"

"Umm how about we decide when we get to the theatre"

"Alright that's fine by me" and with that he drove off so I went to my car and went home.

I had already reached home and my mum was currently helping me get ready.

I was wearing a blue T-shirt jeans and my black converse. So it was a casual look but it's not like we're dating or anything.

I checked the time and it was already 8:56 so Edgar would be here any minute.

Just then the doorbell rang and I already knew it was Edgar but my mum shouted my name and said that I had a visitor.

Oh God what have I gotten myself into.

"Coming mum" I shouted back oh God help me out.

OK please guys don't kill me I'm so sorry for not updating I was busy with school and I was a bit sick.

Sorry if this chapter is short but Edgar has a lot to say about Delilah.

I also want the date to be in Edgar's POV so please stay patient with me.
