Everyone thought this was a mere quarrel between king and prince, but it was destiny's hero versus his villain. I walked toward the speechless king and remained smiling. "You showed that soft-side to the wrong person, Old Crow. You interfere when I told you to stop." Taking but a step back, the ground under my boot broke. "I warned you many times that I dislike those who do not speak their minds,"

The five talons formed in front of their king.

Zazi sat at its center and drew his dark ebony blade. "You will not get passed me, this time," He held his hilt firm in his grip.

I started laughing. It did not cease at his claim. "Bold, but I will lose everything I gained for peace of mind. I do not mean to rush past you, Captain." I sauntered up to him. "Raise that sword and I will split it in two,"

Zazi lifted the blade and prepared for the conflict he could have avoided.

I sighed.

His eyes narrowed at me, but mine shut. "What, power could you possess with revenge? You will regret making the threat on his life," I could see the captain's aura, a blood red. His aura brightened while I dodged its strike with ease. "What in Terra?"

I opened my eyes and they landed on his. "You made a mistake to assume I am blind." I lunged at him, but before I could Ravela sent a bolt of his lightning at my feet. I leaped back. I glared at him.

"Your Highness, it is foolhardy to believe that you are willing to fight until you tire. Do not challenge me when you know nothing of these isles." His daggered stare pierced me, but it would not stop me.

"Right you are, but I know you now." I scoffed. I threw my sword aside and their eyes focused on the fallen sword. "You need me, so how about I show you all the reasons you should not desire me."

"Little wolf, do not play your games." He commanded.

Just like that.

I smirked while I stood still. "Games, I do not play games." I rebutted. "If this were a game, then I would choose a better company." I gestured to his surrounding allies. "Zelme," I uttered under my breath. "I have been discovered."

"What was that your highness?" Ravela asked as he strode passed his loyal guard. He paused before me and his eyes searched mine. "You find this boorish, I take it."

I did not answer.

He grinned. His hand reached for my throat and my destructive power sliced through his wrist. A hand laid on the ground at my feet. The Old Crow did not even cry in agony. He laughed instead. "You really are remarkable at using it, Your Highness. That destructive power cannot hold out against me. Remember,"

I reran the night in the sand garden when my power to destroy him was still not enough to take him down.

The fallen hand vanished from the ground and I jumped back. The Crow King matched my pace. "I know what you do before you do," he stated while I ran out of ground to escape his reach. I felt my shoulders smack into the wall, and I fell. "Do you believe running like this solved your problems? I think you once worded it that you choose your battles wisely, but it appears this time, you were wrong."

I swept a leg at his ankle, but he moved out of range.

"Ferocious, was a characteristic of yours," he complimented and continued. "however, my boy it has tamed you." He began to close the distance between us, but a gust of wind rushed between us. When it dispersed, Zelme stood in the middle. "Should have guessed you would help him," he searched Zelme's face. "Zelme, you should have stayed out of this matter." The lightning crackled around the Old Crow.
