I have decided that every time I publish a chapter/episode I'll put up a picture of the outfit Freja is wearing.  <3

I would really appreciate it if you'd please leave comments. They are what keep me motivated to write more!  <3

There's a general belief that trying new things is supposed to be exciting.

That was an enormous understatement when you were a Time Lord.

The newly-regenerated Doctor was currently dangling out of the open TARDIS doors by his fingertips as he tried not to fall, his sonic screwdriver clenched in his teeth. He began to pull himself inside but glanced back at the sound of a bell, his eyes widening when he saw what he was headed for. Thinking quickly, he aimed and used the sonic on the TARDIS console's controls, which then caused the TARDIS to speed up and miss hitting the top of London's famous Big Ben.

The Doctor then finally managed to pull himself back inside, closing the doors and sinking down against them with a tired sigh. However, his rest lasted only but a few seconds before there was a loud bang and the TARDIS lurched and spun out of control, catapulting a screaming Doctor forward.

And here we go...

There's a general understanding that sneaking out of your parents' house late at night is wrong when you're underage.

But at the moment, ten year old Freja did not care.

"As long as I get back before Mama wakes up, I will be fine." The young brunette girl muttered, her voice a Danish accent. She brought her bike to a halt as she reached a crossroads at the center of Leadworth, the small English village her mother was forcing her to live in. She looked all around, seeing that the village square was completely deserted. That wasn't too surprising, though, given the late hour. Once she was sure no one was around, Freja began peddling again through the empty streets.

"Right." She muttered as she cycled along. "What sort of after dark narrestreger are happening tonight?"

Oh, dear Freja, be careful what you wish for...

"Dear Santa," A young ginger-haired girl prayed as she knelt beside her bed, her voice a Scottish accent. "Thank you for the dolls and pencils and the fish. It's Easter now, so I hope I didn't wake you." She took a deep breath. "But honest, it is an emergency. There's a crack in my wall." She looked over fearfully and eyed the huge crack in her bedroom wall, almost a V shape. She then returned to her prayer. "Aunt Sharon says it's just an ordinary crack, but...I know it's not because, at night, there's voices. So please, please, could you send someone to fix it? Or a policeman. Or..."

She trailed off, slowly turning her head towards the window when she heard a weird wheezing sound outside. That happening just a few seconds before a huge crash sounded and a high-pitched scream rang out, the sound of shattering glass being heard.

"Back in a moment." The young girl said, quickly getting up from her kneeling position before snatching a torch off her bedside table and running to the window.

She pushed back the curtains, and her eyes widened when she saw the garden shed destroyed, a blue police public call box on top of it and an unmistakeable pair of bike wheels spinning as the bicycle itself laid upside down in the nearby hedge.

The young girl grinned. "Thank you, Santa." She whispered before eagerly turning and running out of her room.

Author's Note

Hello, dearies! 😃

As you have probably noticed, this is a DOCTOR WHO fanfiction. If you're familiar with my work, you know that I have quite a bit of experience in writing for the Whoniverse. After all, I am on the third book for The Glorious Series.

But, that is not what you have come HERE for. This is the start of the first book in a brand new Who series that I've created. What I've got planned is a little different than what you're probably used to seeing from me, but I do hope you will enjoy it.

I hope you will end up loving Freja as much as I do! 😍 She's still coming to life in my mind, so I'm looking forward to getting to know her even better along with all of you.

Anyway, things are now officially underway, and I do hope this prologue has made you even just the tiniest bit excited for what's to come.

I don't think the Doctor and Freja's first meeting will be the nicest. You know, if you were paying attention. ;)

So yeah, now that things have actually gotten started, I can tell you that this series is gonna be a wild ride (I'm talking the Doctor and the Glorious level wild – possibly even more). 😜

Like seriously, there's stuff that's gonna happen in this series that I don't normally do. Well, not to the scale I've got planned...

But that's for me to know now, and you to read about later! 😁

We're really heating things up now, people! 🔥 "The Eleventh Hour" is in the works and, let me tell y'all, I AM LOVING IT SO MUCH!!! We have got a bright future ahead for The Mystique Saga. 💜

*squeals excitedly*
