Julianne starts the car and that's the only reason that she doesn't keep her eyes completely locked on me. She awaits my answer and I'm completely blanking.

" So? " she brings up her hand from the wheel then brings it back down quickly, creating a loud noise in frustration. I take a deep breath in and then back out slowly before explaining.

" I was with" I take a small pause in fear of her judgement. " Harry Styles. " I say quickly, trying to stop my own procrastination.

" Wait, the new guy Harry Styles? " she asks. I laugh a little at how she identifies him.

" Yeah. " I say slowly. I look toward her for her expression. " What do you think about him? "

" Wait, why were you scared to tell me about him; it's not like you guys were doing anything. " she says and I freeze, but really I didn't do anything with him. She takes attention to my still position and her eyes widen. " Oh my god, you didn't. " she panics but I'm quick to correct her.

" No, no ofcourse not. You know I'm with Nate." I calm her. I wouldn't cheat on Nate. I would have to be stupid do something that would make it so easy for me to lose someone like him, someone as special him. Julieanne releases a breath of relief.

" But really, what did you get from him? Did you notice anything different about him? " I ponder, going deep into the thoughts about my only experience with him.

" Yeah, he's totally hot... unlike most of the guys at our school. " she says and laughs a little. What she says is true but not exactly what I mean. There was something about him tonight that I noticed but I can't exactly tell what it was. I laugh at her comment to try and thin the air, but for the rest of the drive I stay quiet.

We both sit in a comfortable silence, listening to the hum of the dry, bumpy road beneath us. The outside of my being is utterly silent while the inside simply won't stop. His figure ran through my mind continuously-his face, his tattoos, his clothes, his eyes, his tattoos. I feel so out of it that I hadn't even noticed that I was staring at nothing until Julieanne calls my name.

" Um, are you alright? You seem a little off today. " she asks, concerned. He's got my mind wondering about every detail of his being.

" Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little tired. " quickly giving my excuse, I look to the right to see that we're already in front of my house. " I'll see you tomorrow. Thanks for the ride. " I say, smiling and to this she smiles back.

" Yeah, no problem." she excuses.

Before I close the door again, we exchange " love you's ". I quickly make my way towards the stone walkway before reaching the front door. Pulling out my key, I unlock the door to the large, empty home as I hear the engine of Julianne's car drive away.

I quickly make my way up to my room, releasing a sigh, happy to be home. Plopping myself down on the large, pink bed, I take my phone out of my back pocket to check the time.
10:57 , mom should be home soon,
I think to myself. I decide to take a shower because surprisingly, I'm already tired from this long day.

Slowly opening up my eyes, irritated, I extend my arm over to stop the loud noise. I get up quickly, already attempting to shake the tiring feeling of the morning.

After a long shower of thought, I run to my room, ready to have clothes on so that the coolness of the air hitting me will go away. I gather clothes out of my closet. Rapidly, I put on a skin tight pair of maroon high waisted pants with a black crop top sweater to protect myself from the cool weather. I make my way dresser begin my makeup. Standing at my dresser, I apply eyeliner on my top lid. I dab a little concealer on a small blemish near my cheek. Then, I perfect my eyebrows by filling them in just a little and add some mascara to my thin eyelashes. Afterward, I glide my clear lipstick tube from side to side on my lips and curl my hair, causing waves to flow through my long hair. I use a spray in my hair that Julianne had recommended a while back to give my hair more volume and body. In the process of getting, I put on some pieces of jewelry here and there. To finish, I add a bit of light eyeshadow to awaken my appearance. Adding pieces of jewelry here and there, I make my way to my door.
