Chapter Ten: Faith's P.O.V

I was laying in my bed, crying. I saw it. I saw me in my skirt and my grey jacket hit myself in a video. Everyone was laughing at me, calling me a 'fatass'. I was hurting.

"Hey." A low female voice came from my window. My bloodshot eyes turned to the voice. A lean, redhead girl I her early 20s, stood at my window.

I stared at her for a while, and she stared at me. I had no idea of what to think. Was I supposed to fear her? I've never seen her before in my life.

"Who are you?" I asked carefully. At any moment she could pull out a blade and gut me like an animal. Curiosity over threw the fear in my brain; however, I didn't let myself act stupid.

She smiled widely, "The name's Kia."

It sounded like she answered it honestly, though I found that to be an odd name. I didn't mind it, she looked like a 'Kia' to me.

"Um...Why are you here." I asked her the next question in my mind. She almost snapped back to reality and she stopped staring at me. Kia allowed herself in my room, and she pushed her body onto my carpeted floor.

"I, uh," Kia rubbed the back of her neck, "Just wanted to say 'hi'."

We both just stood there for a good little while. We stared at each other, and I felt no fear now. Just curiosity.

"Are you okay? Looks like you've been crying for the last hour." Kia asked. I forgot that that's true, I did spend the last hour or so crying. Her bringing it up made me want to cry again.

She saw this, because she sat on my bed, and beckoned me to join her. I complied, unaware of how the situation looks like from an outside perspective. I'm about to cry into the shoulder of some girl I don't even know.
