Chapter sixteen: Kia's P.O.V
"Help! Some one help me!"
This altered me. I looked down to where the scream came from and it was a girl with long brown and pink ha- Faith!
Behind her was Jessie and a group of girls. Jessie had a small splat of blood on her shirt and Faith had a bloody nose. Should I interrupt? I am curious what Jessie has planned to do. At the same time, I wanted to keep Faith away from any danger.
"Help!" Faith yelled again.
"Quiet, pig! I'm going to gut you!" Jessie hollered back to Faith. I could tell that Faith's stamina was wearing thin.
With a loud thud, Faith tripped over a presumable stone and was now on the ground. I started to work my way down the tree to stop Jessie when I needed to. I'd let her get a bit further and then put an end to this.
Jessie got on top of Faith and held her puny blade above her head. She lashed down at Faith's check, and then Faith tried to throw her off. When Faith did this, Jessie slashed at her hand, making Faith withdraw her hand away. I decided that that was enough.
I ran up behind the group and started to stab Jessie's friends one by one. I always carries around my machete for occasions like this. Jessie dismissed their screams, due to the place she was in.
"Finally. I won't have to look at your fat, disgusting face anymore." Jessie-Ann said to Faith as she rose the knife above her head. As she did, I plunged my blade through her chest. This caused her to yell and drop her pocket knife on the grass. Faith squirmed under Jessie's dead and bloody body.
When Jessie's body fell limp, Faith and I made eye contact again. She laid still, while I made a dumb smile on my face to reassure to her that it would be okay.
I had to act quick. All these bodies will be found soon, and all the screaming didn't help the seclusion of this area. I lifted Faith into my arms and proceeded to run off to my home, with her.
