Chapter Seventeen: Kia's P.O.V
She ended up passing out on the way to my house, most likely due to shock. She was now resting in my recliner, and looked so adorable. I guess I've somewhat accepted the fact that I liked her, but that's not a good thing. I'll snap someday, like really snap. I'll end up killing or hurting her. I don't want to do that, even if she wants me to.
I went off to my basement where, still, that mess and mop was there. It was left completely untouched and I wasn't going to change that. I just wanted to make sure that no one was down here, in case Faith wondered down here. She already knows I'm a killer, but I don't want to mortify the poor gal.
Though there was a patch of blood and a broken mop, there wasn't anything too gruesome. I hope she doesn't have OCD or something.
I went back upstairs to check on her. She was still asleep. I wonder if I could get away with...No, I shouldn't. But- no! I shouldn't.
Well, why not, right?
I sat down in the chair with her and slowly started to cuddle up with her. Her limp body didn't seem to mind me doing this. Although it was only 12:30 in the afternoon, I ended up taking a nap on Faith's chest, cuddled up like a dog.
Thankfully, I reanimated before Faith did, and only 8:00 at night too. She still seemed to be fast asleep, so I was careful in removing myself from her. It was adorable how she made a soft moan when I lifted myself off her. It sounded like she appreciated my cuddle abilities.
I went over to my little kitchen area where I decided to make food for Faith and I, knowing that she hasn't ate yet. I wonder what she'd like. Is she allergic to anything? I'm not sure...It feels weird not knowing these things about another person. I usually know, but I didn't do my research on this girl. I should and very soon.
I just made cheeseburgers because why not? Who doesn't love them? Well, quite a few people evidently, given that there are vegetarians. Anyway, I ate mine and Faith was still sleeping. I thought about waking her up to eat, but then I have to answer her a lot of questions. And she's cute when she's asleep. But, I decided that she should wake up anyway. I don't want her to be in a coma or something.
I lightly nudged her shoulder and she gave me a light and raspy moan again. I nudged her a bit harder and received a louder groan. The next time I hit her shoulder, and she woke up with a sharp "What?"
"Hey, girl." I answered and she realized where she was and who I was. Well, all she knows is that she's not her in college room.
Which explains her first question: "Where am I?"
Her next was:
"Are you going to kill me?"
I answered her back as basic as I could've and said 'my house and probably not'. She must have been contempt with a 'probably not' because all the tension in her shoulders dropped very quickly. She even gave me a faint smile.
"Right. Thank you for, uh, helping me earlier." And it was just then I remembered that she had injuries. I didn't care for them, so I had to do that soon.
"Hey," I said, "I'm going to get you a first aid kit. Be back in one second."
"Oh, yeah. Thanks."
"Well, I wanted to wait until you were awake, just in case you were allergic or something." I lied through my teeth, I just forgot she even got hurt.
"I'm a doctor, I'm not allowed to be allergic to anything." She joked with me. I hope that was a joke. I laughed and proceeded to getting her aid.
I came back quickly, not wanting to leave her alone. I didn't want her to snoop. I put the kit down in front of her while she sat on the chair, "Trust me?" I asked her. She replied with a hesitant nod.
My hand moved to hers, and I examined her wound. The slash wasn't that deep, so I put some rubbing alcohol on the cut and wrapped it in cotton cloth. I smiled when she flinched at the burning of the alcohol.
Then I cupped her face to look at her cut on the cheek. Her face burned intensely when I did that, and that caused mine to as well. I brushed this off with a smirk and put a dab of the alcohol on her. She didn't squirm as much this time. I taped cloth to her face and started to pack up the kit.
Not without giving her injured cheek a small kiss first.
