Lies
The bubbles,  pop!
                            pop!
                              pop!

Joy and laughter,  gone!
                                    gone!
                                      gone!

Drowning in a sea of lies.

Watching as the memory dies.

Wishing to reach the sky.

Unable to fly.

The snow heavy like gold.

Only able to feel the cold.

Photos taped on walls.

I walk these empty halls.

A thoughtless mind.

That's all I can seem to find.

Trapped under lock and key.

All I can truly do is plea.

Wish for freedom from this hell.

My brain is just one big cell.

All they want me to do is speak.

My future seems so bleak.
