Bolding, Italicizing, and underlining

Let's start with something simple. When writing a story (especially a POV story) we don't want our readers to mix up who is talking. Lots of us leave authors notes at the beginning or end of our chapters to show gratitude or to just talk to the readers. So we need a way to show that it is us talking and not the character.

For this I would use the bolding tool, the italics tool, or the underline tool, or just a mixture of them all.

To bold, italicize, or underline stuff on a computer, I like to highlight the stuff I want to look different, after I type it, then I right-click on the highlighted part and sometimes it will pop up with a thing. Sometimes it likes to not work so you have to do it a few times but that isn't a huge problem.

To do it on your phone or maybe tablet or something, there is a thing right above your keyboard that is an 'A' and 4 lines next to it. Tap it and pick what you want.
