When writing a story, there are two main point of views to be aware of.
1st person POV
This usually has the character name where I put 1st person but you get the idea. This POV uses the words 'I' 'Me' 'Us' you know things like that
3rd person POV
This form of POV uses words like 'they' 'them' 'he' 'him' 'she' 'her'
(Exceptions to the rule are dialogue)
