This one is one I struggle with a lot.

When writing you want to have good grammar so people know what  you are saying. when doing things like texting stories, this doesn't matter as much but you need to make it readable.

homophone

To save this word, you'll need to log in.

ho·mo·phone | \ ˈhä-mə-ˌfōn , ˈhō- \ Definition of homophone

1 grammar : one of two or more words pronounced alike but different in meaning or derivation or spelling (such as the words to, too, and two) 2 : a character or group of characters pronounced the same as another character or group(merriam webster)

These words are easy to mix up like the:

'There, Their, and They're'
'There': talking about where something is. ex: "There you are!"
'Their': talking about someone's possesion. ex: "That's theirs!"
'They're': talking about a person or multiple people that are doing something; conjunction consisting of 'they' and 'are'. ex: "They're going to win the competition!"

And:

'Where, Wear'

'Where': asking a question for the location of something or someone. ex:"Where have you been?!"
'Wear': mostly for putting on clothing or something. ex:"I'm going to wear a dress to the party!"

There are lots of different homophones so if you get confused, you can look up a list of them online.

Next, capitalization and punctuation, in the next chapter. Sorry. good luck! and remember that, while most of the things youlearned in school you will never use, on this app you can almost always use what you learned in english class. I am NOT by any means good at grammar but if you try to fix it, it will get better.

I hope you are finding this book helpful, if you are vote or comment some tips you have and I will gladly put them in.

~Thankyou and good night! <3
