You've Been Warned

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You were finally starting school again. Throughout the whole ordeal, you never let your grades drop. So as you wouldn't be behind on any classwork. As much as you hated to admit it, classwork was the only thing keeping you down in reality.
You looked at the school from the gates, you didn't know what to do. You were scared, you didn't know if you'd stand out for transferring mid-year, you didn't know if you weren't going to be in the middle of anything. You entered the school gates and were heading towards the teacher's office. Your nerves killing you, you felt like your heart would jump out of your chest at any moment, you didn't feel like you were breathing. You arrived at the door, gulping down the silva that had built up in your mouth. You took a deep breath and knocked on the door. You heard someone calling you to come in so you did. There you where told about what class you'd attend and that you'd need to pick a club to attend. When they told you that you had to pick a club, your mind went to all places, you didn't know if the school had a basketball team, or if anyone here knew who you were, or if you'd fit into any club. You just couldn't think of what you were going to do. You went to the classroom that you were going to attend for the rest of the year, the class had already started, taking in a deep breath, you were about to knock when someone opened the door. Blinking at the dark green-haired boy with freckles. The boy looked back into the room stepping aside.
"Is the student you wanted me to find?" Gesturing at you. You looked down as soon as everyone's eyes went to you. In the past, you never had any problem with people staring at you, because you were always in the spotlight, but know the spotlight felt like it was burning you. The teacher saw you and nodded. The teacher than motioned you to come into the classroom. Taking a step into the classroom, standing next to your new teacher. You shyly stood there.
"Yamaguchi you can return to your seat." The freckled boy went back to his seat. You stood at the front staring at all the students in front of you. You weren't nervous but, scared. Your cheeks weren't burning, but instead, your stomach was churning, and your heart ringing in your ears. You knew you couldn't avoid this so you brought your lips up into a smile. The most convincing one you could muster.
"Hello everyone, I'm (L/N) (F/N). It's nice to meet all of you, and I hope we can become great friends." You sweetly said. You notice a couple of boys whisper and blush. This happened in the past, and it never bothered you, but all you wanted to do was go crawl in a hole. People used to whisper about how cute, smart, athletic, and popular you were. Now you only associated whispers with rumors and how you should be avoided. You started to panic until your teacher pointed to the desk you'd sit in for the rest of the year. You quickly went to sit down. Your teacher then proceeded to pull out your English notebook. You did so, but you soon weren't even paying attention to the lesson but looking out the window into the sky.
Throughout the day you went like any other student, more like not trying to be noticed by anyone, interacting with people only gave you anxiety, you didn't understand why you couldn't be homeschooled, being around others was almost too much for you to bear. You kept up without any problem, even though half the time you want to run, escape, even ditch but you knew you couldn't.
Lunch had already arrived and you found a secluded area to eat lunch........ and to self-harm. You looked around to make sure that no one was around, there were some boys playing basketball on a court a couple of feet away, but they couldn't see you and were too engrossed in the game they were playing. You wanted to cry at the sight of it. You saw all the fun they were having, but you'll never be able to play competitively anymore. You could never be a part of the national team anymore........
