We have been called by Nadia for an audience in the palace. The way she sent her invitation so formally seemed a bit odd. After all, we are good friends of the Countess, but I decided not to pay too much attention to that detail.

Upon arriving at the palace, Portia welcomes us with a huge smile and ran to hug us. Porta no longer works in the palace, now she's in charge of a shelter for exotic animals with one of Nadia's sisters. That's why we don't see her very often, but she retains that spirit of joy that infects anyone.

The five of us arrived in the salon (as Faust and Magnus also accompanied us), Nadia was waiting with Julian, even Asra's parents were present. Everyone received us with affection, there was a great feeling of warmth and familiarity.

Even so, the atmosphere seemed strange to me. Asra wasn't even wearing his usual outfit. After the greetings, Nadia got up and asked me and Portia to accompany her.

Nadia led us to my guestroom. Once inside, Nadia turned to me and looked at me with a playful smile just like Portia.

We left my guestroom and headed to the salon to meet the others. When we walked through the door, Asra stood up when she saw me and slowly approached me. He took my cheeks in his hands and blushed.

My nervousness increased again at the doubt of what was happening that afternoon. I was happy to see them all but I didn't understand anything.

Nadia got up from her seat and cleared her throat, drawing our attention.

As you know, Vesuvia currently lacks a court and is something that cannot continue like this.
