I heard Magnus's barking in the distance. Slowly I opened my eyes and realized that it was still night.

A cold wind blew in through the window, I put on my robe and peeked out the window. I saw no one. I closed it and went downstairs slowly, Magnus was growling towards the front door and I approached him.

MC- What's up, Mag? There's nobody outside, calm down.

Mg-Spiders.

MC-Spiders? All this fuss about spiders?

Mg- Danger.

MC- No, Mag. I don't like spiders either but there is nothing to worry about.

But even I did not totally believe what I said. I felt a heavy, dark and cold aura around the shop. A chill ran down my spine, Magnus perched in front of me to protect me.
I quickly summoned a blue flame in one of my hands, the sound of quick and heavy footsteps running through the wall from outside, suddenly, the silhouette of a huge spider passed through one of the windows. The spider seemed to be almost Magnus's size.

Mg- Witch.

Magnus said, as he growled directly at where the spider was moving, without losing track.

MC- A witch? That spider is a witch's familiar?

I answered surprised, in a low voice. Magnus nodded and after a few seconds of silence, we heard a high-pitched screech coming from outside the shop, surely it was the spider's growl, because we immediately saw its silhouette running away past the window.

At that moment, the aura of the shop felt released, light and calm, as if I could breathe again after a long time.

We both stood still for a few more moments, waiting to see if the spider returned. Nothing else happened, everything was calm as always.

MC- Come on, Mag, it's late and we should rest. At dawn we will see what to do about this.

Mg- not sleepy.

MC- Oh, come on. We have already spent a lot of energy and tomorrow we will surely need it.

Magnus hung his ears in surrender and we went to sleep. At first it was difficult for me, I had many things to think about, but I managed to fall asleep. The rest of the night for me was just a black slumber.

A few hours later, I was awakened by a hasty knock on the front door. Who would knock on the door with such haste? I got out of bed, got dressed quickly, and went downstairs. I hesitated a little to open but I knew that presence.

I opened the door and Julián appeared before me, he looked worried. He immediately came in and hugged me very tight, then looked me seriously in the eye.
