N- Nadia.
P- Portia.
Nq- Natiqa.
S- Salim.
Ai- Aisha.
M- Muriel.

Upon arriving at the Palace, Nadia, Salim, Aisha and our familiars were waiting for us. Nadia ran to hug me and tears began to roll down her face.

- I'm so sorry, I didn't want this to happen, it's all my fault! It's my fault ... Those poor girls ... You leaving your home, Portia ...

She said between sobs.

- It's not your fault, Naddy, it's not. We'll find them, I promise you. We'll all be fine. We must be strong and united. We'll not let you fall, just as you have never left us.

Nadia nodded and wiped away her tears, trying to regain her composure. Aisha hugged me and told Nadia and me inside. Asra and Salim took care of the luggage.

We all gathered in the main hall, sadness invaded the environment while the details of the case were shared and we planned our next movement, which consists of bringing Portia and Natiqa to the palace to keep them safe. The sun was already setting on the horizon and it was important to act.

- I have to go. I promised Ilya that I would bring Portia and we would see him here early tomorrow.

- You must not go alone, it can be very dangerous, love.

- Don't worry, I'll meet Muriel and we'll go together.

Asra hugged me and kissed my forehead. I nodded and let it go.

- See you tomorrow, love.

- Take care.

Aisha approached me and hugged me like a little girl. Fear washed over me, but her embrace was so gentle and loving that it made me feel safe, as if she were my own mother. What a tense and emotional day.

We all spent that night in the palace. Asra's parents were at the next door so I wouldn't feel lonely.
However, I could barely fall asleep for a couple of hours.

I was thinking of the missing girls, I was thinking of Asra, of Portia and Natiqa, I was afraid that there would be more disappearances. I was also thinking about Nadia, I couldn't imagine the heavy burden of responsibility she carried on her shoulders.

Finally morning came, I got out of bed, took a bath, and prepared myself for whatever might happen that day. Aisha came to pick me up from my room, her presence is always reassuring and it lifts my spirits.

We arrived together at the dining room, to my surprise, Asra, portia and Natiqa were already back. Even Muriel and Julian. The atmosphere seemed lively and light. My heart was glad to see them safe.
I ran to hug Asra, then Portia and greeted the others cordially. We had a leisurely breakfast, then we all headed to the library, where the real work was about to begin.

Nadia was the one who led the discussion.

N. -Julian, I think you should be the first to bring us up to date on the situation. What did you find out about the missing girls?

J. - Both are small girls, one is 10 years old and the other is 7. They both disappeared at night, apparently they were taken away while they slept. Their families did not hear any noise and the doors and windows of their houses showed no signs of struggle. It seems as if they had vanished in the air. Both families became aware of the disappearances until the following morning.

We were all listening carefully, until a question came to mind.

MC. - Both families have something in common? I mean, something that sets a standard for having been chosen or do you think they were chosen at random?
