Chapter 7

December 2 2014 Dad deployed to Afghanistan. we hugged kissed cried. Evne though I've been through countless deployments it still hurts to know he's could die. Daniel didn't show up. He did hug dad on the way out the door and said "God be with you" Then he didn't get in the suburban. He stood at the door waving.
Brit was moving in with us so she could have an easier time with the pregnancy once Daniel went to training.
Dad hugged me tight wiped away one year and told me two words that would stick more than I would ever know
"Be strong" He whispered then kissed my forehead.
"What does that mean?" I asked confused.
"You will find out soon enough." He them gave Mom one more big kiss and boarded the plane taking him across the world.
The snow fell heavy and we drove home from Charlotte North Carolina. The car was silent Aiden driving Mom sniffling Even James and Quinn where silent and not speaking. When we pulled in the driveway it was dark but Daniels light was on so we knew he was there.
"So... I'm gonna make dinner." I started I got out of the car just because the silence was unbearable. I started chopping parsley for some stew when James came in.
"Go upstairs Talk to Shiloh I'm gonna finish here" James took my knife and started chopping like I was doing moments ago.
"But..." I started
"You look like shit Rianne go upstairs." James snapped.
I got upstairs and pulled out my old Mac from my desk drawer.
"Hey shy" I said when my now Pink and Purple haired friend appeared on the screen.
"Hey Ry. You realize it's 3:30 AM Here correct?" She questioned.
"Yeah but we just got back from Charlotte to ship Dad off" As if a commander said ATTENTION. Shiloh sat up wide awake.
"Oh I'm sorry kid." She sighed she was like a 2nd daughter to my dad.
"It's ok I just wanted to get my mind off it and James kicked me out of the kitchen." I smiled Shiloh laughed laughed like it was the best joke she heard all week."
"How's Fayetteville, since my douche bag brother won't call unless you make him" She muttered the last part.
"Well I can show you this much" I picked up my laptop and walked downstairs to the backyard where snow was a good 1.5 feet now.
"OH MY JESUS!! SNOW!!!!" She squealed like a little kid. Then I heard a thud I looked at the screen.
"Shut the hell up Shiloh I'm trying to sleep" Her roommate yelled
"Veronica get out I'm talking to my family back in the states." Shiloh shoved her room mate out into the hall and lock the door.
"Sorry Veronica is a bitch." She apologized. I shrugged
"No biggie."
"Haha well I better go before Veronica gets the floor director. See yeah later chick. Give Tank a kiss for me!" She blew me a kiss then clicked hang up.
"Dinner" Aiden announced coming out of Moms room she's probably already in her depressed mood.

UPDATE!!! Haha so one REALLY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT I'm changing James and Quinn's ages they are actually 18 year old twins. James and Quinn are TWINS!! Yes!! Also there where a few hints of what's to come in the chapter hope you caught them!! Luv yeah!! 😘😘😘
