Danielle pov

I woke up early this morning to make sure I looked good today. This was the fit. Skipping breakfast I ran straight to the garage to go warm up my brother's car. About 10 minutes later Philix came into the car throughout his duffle bag into the back.

Me and my brother both play basketball for San Ysidro high school aka the border boyz/girlz. We are really good Philix has multiple scholarships as a a senior.

Walking into the school of people wave and dap me up I'm kinda that one freshman that knows everyone. I go sit down with my basketball team. About 10 minutes later the bell rings so in make my way to athletics.

(Skip rest of dat cuz it's boring)

I wake up to the sound of drake' s life is good. I start banging on the wall but the music only gets louder. I give up and decide it's about time to go on my morning run anyway. I got dressed in my bike running shorts and a lightweight jacket.

Walking out of my room I open P's door preparing to give him a price of my mind but ceased when I realize it wasn't P. It was Mikey on his phone nodding his head to the beat of the music. "Where's philix?" I asked just above a whisper.

"He's taking a shower" dang I didn't know his voice was so deep. Before I knew it he was back on his phone.

"Oh well can you tell him that I'm going in a run?" I asked. He smiled out of no where and said" I gotchu ma" I just know that made my cheeks a deep red. I them left the house and started to run.

About 3 and a half miles later i decided to go back home and take a shower. When I got home I saw Philix eating and Mikey on his phone. What is so important on his phone I think in my head. "Goodmorning" I find myself saying.

Philix lifts his head up and we do our handshake we made when we were 6. "Hey what happened to your leg?" He asks and I drop my head in embarrassment just thinking about what happened. "While I was running a dog started chasing me and I fell into a mud puddle." Philix and Mikey bust out laughing. It's so bad that Philix is on the floor with tears. I throw my water bottle at Trey's head and run upstairs to take a shower.

After taking a shower I laid in my bed watching p.s I still love you for the next 45 minutes. Lara Jean was dancing with John Ambrose when my door was opened causing me to pause my movie. "Uh hey Dani do you have a charger I could borrow? " I tear my eyes from my screen and Mikey is leaning on my wall.

"Uhh yeah lemme check." I say after a little while. I get up from my bed and make my way over to my dresser and there it is my backup charger. I turn around and Mikey's staring at my basketball pictures. "Here"I pushed the charger into his hands.

I was expecting him to leave but he stayed looking at all my trophies. "I didn't know you was this good" he said. I followed his eyes and he was looking at my picture from the Steph curry camp.

"Yeah people underestimated me but I was voted the mvp that day." I told him thinking back on that day.

He looks over at me and smirks "then I might just have to start goin to yo games" I stay quiet then chuckle after a while. "You wanna watch the kid now?" I asked already knowing the answer.

He looks down at his air forces and chuckles. After a while I do the same. He steps closer to me lifting my chin up with his fingers. "I just might have to" He whispers.

I hear heavy footsteps coming towards my room. " Hey Mikey did you get that charger?" I took a huge step back from Mikey just as Philix walked Into my doorway.

"Yea man we was just talking about hoops I'll be down in a minute." He said to Philix. Philix looked back and forth between us then walked down the stairs. He takes a step towards me and brings his lips to my cheek. He pulls away and winks. "See you later ma" and with that he walks out of my room.

The rest of they day when I was hanging out with them he kept teasing me. He would laugh when he knew he got me frustrated. It's ok I got something for him though.
