Mikey
Today I had to wake up early. My guy Bryce Griggs had just came down here and he plans on transferring here from Houston. I got dressed and when I went to put my curl cream in, the shit was empty. "Marvin" I yelled. He came stumbling into the bathroom breathing hard. "Did you use my curl cream?" I asked.
"No" he replied and I gave him a blank look. "Really. Dani says I don't need it" he runs his fingers through his hair. I put my hand on top of his and drag his head into my sisters room. "Did you use my curl cream?" I ask. She just looked at me and rolled her eyes, she had also recently started straightening her hair so I knew it wasn't her.
I let Marvin's head go and went into my room to grab my phone and car keys. I said goodbye to my mom and got in my car. "Whew shit" this California heat was really killing me. I cranked my car on and the radio instantly started blasting through the car just like I like it. Bryce was going to live in an apartment for a while until they got a house.
I was glad when he contacted me a couple of months ago because I couldn't carry the team as much because this year we play better teams. I pulled up to the apartment and texted him that I was here. I saw him walking down the stairs but his apartment door open and a girl came running down the stairs.
At this point he was already to my car opening the door. "Where you going?" She asked. "Bailey go back inside" he told her. She looked towards me and started freaking out. "Omg you're Mikey Williams, Bryce take me with you" she said. He looked at me and I tried to discreetly shake my head no. "Pleaseee" she dragged out. I sighed and she took that as a sign to jump in the back seat slamming the door.
I looked at her like she was crazy before turning back around. "What we doing today?" He asked. "Imma introduce you to the gang then we can go hoop" I told him and he nodded his head. I changed my route to Dani's house. I called p and told him to invite kailen and roe over. "Omg can you believe in in Mikey Williams car?" I heard a loud ass squeal. This girl was really recording my car right now.
"I'm sorry man I ain't ever bringing her anywhere again" Bryce apologizes. I pull up to Dani's house and I see Kailen's car already here. "Wassup bitches" I yelled entering the house. Dani's dad appears out of nowhere and smacked the back of my head. "Shut the hell up" I bucked at him but quickly ran away from him.

Mikey was going to introduce us to some guy that was transferring to San Ysidro. I'm glad because Kailen, Philix and a couple other people had basically graduated and they didn't get to finish the season. "Wassup bitches" I heard and I got up from the basement already knowing who it was. I walked in the living room seeing my dad messing with Mikey.
"Go on somewhere old man" I pushed him. "Don't mess with me" he muttered walking off somewhere. "Hi" I stood on the tip of my toes to give him a kiss. "D this is Bryce and umm-" he snapped his fingers. "Bailey" the girl behind Bryce said. "Hi" I gave a nice smile and Bryce took his chance to hug me. "Aye man cut it out" Mikey pulled him off of me. I led them down to the basement where everybody else was.
He introduced then and we all got comfortable on the couches. "So where you from man?" P asked throwing a toy football in the air. "Houston" he answered. "It's mad different form down there ain't it?" He asked and Bryce nodded. Y'all know how girls be sitting when a dude invite them in they room for the first time? That's how miss Bailey sitting right now, acting like we got roaches or something.
I was playing roe back in pool when I felt a heavy ass body on me. "Mikey stoppp" I groaned trying to push him off. "Mikey stoppp" kailen copied my while waving his arms all dramatic. "Y'all like best friends or what?" Bailey asked with hella attitude, literally the whole room got silent. "Nah this my shawty for life" he said putting me in a headlock. Wow way to ruin a moment. I saw Bailey roll her eyes and I laughed.
"Aww y'all so cute make me wanna throw up" Philix said fake gagging making me mug him. "I should smack shit out yo ashy ass" I said. "Whatever bihh" He said in this girly voice. "Y'all stupid" Bryce busted out laughing. "Yo let's go play ball" kailen suggested standing up. "I'm down" I said going to put my yeezy slides on. Well they weren't exactly mine I borrowed them from Mikey and never gave them back.
We all decided to walk because we wouldn't all got in the car. I brought a soccer ball and they got a football because our basketball was flat. "Ayee" Roe hyped me up as I bounced the ball on my knees. The guys were throwing the ball back and forth while Bailey was on the phone somewhere. I passed it to Roe and she kicked it a little far towards Bailey.
"Yea gurl she think she all that because she got Mikey well... not for long" she said as I went to go get the ball. I chuckled and grabbed the ball. The only thing that was stopping me from beating her was was that I knew that Mikey already couldn't stand her. After playing for a but I got tired of tripping over the slides I was wearing and decided to take a break and go home.
"It's so hot outside" I groaned laying my head on Mikey's thigh. "I'm starving bro" Mikey said squishing my cheeks together giving me the duck face. "Maybe me and Mikey can go get something for us" Bailey suggested. "Nah me and Elle know this good ass place" he said dragging me to the door. "So what good ass place do we know?" I asked. He shrugged and said he just made it up.
"I can tell Bryce is going to fit in" I said texting roe what everybody wanted to eat. "Yea but Bailey's ass got to go she mad annoying" he said making me laugh. I told him what she said on the phone earlier and he was so surprised. We ended up making our way to this Jamaican restaurant.
"Since when do you call me elle?" I asked waiting for our order tom be done. "I don't know I said it once and I like it now" he shrugged it off. "I just noticed your curls are a little iffy today, did you switch gels?" I asked while chuckling. "I knew you did it" he popped my thigh while I laughed harder. "It ain't funny you buying me some more" he said.
We had finally got the door and made it back to the house. When I walked through the door I could hear arguing from downstairs. When I got down there I saw kailen holding roe back while Bailey was in the other corner.
"You don't want to mess with me lil girl" I laughed at my crazy friend and sat down with my food. I could tell this was just the beginning of a crazy year.
