Everyone was still there after the singing competition. Virgil was waiting on the couch for that one knock on the door. His heart was beating fast in his chest.

He felt something warm touch his hand. He looked down and saw Roman holding his hand. He smiled a bit and leaned against Roman.

Then there was a knock on the front door. Virgil panicked and leaned into Roman's shoulder. Juliet got up and opened it, revealing Deceit and Rai.

"It's about time you two got here," Juliet said.

"Sorry, there was traffic downtown." Rai smiled awkwardly.

"Come in." Juliet opened the door for them and they walked inside as they linked arms.

"Hey, you two!" Emile smiled. Virgil relaxed when he saw that it was only them.

"Hello." Deceit said and smiled a bit. Deceit sat down in a one-person seat and pulled Rai down to sit on his lap.

"How is your relationship going?" Remy asked and sipped his coffee.

"Great!" Rai said and leaned on Deceit.

Then there was a knock on the front door again. Juliet sighed and got up again. She opened it and saw Circe.

"Circe! You're here." Juliet smiled.

Then Virgil panicked. He pulled on Roman's sleeve and looked up at him, "Ro..."

Roman looked back at him. "I know. I'll be right here for you."

Virgil nodded and clung to Roman's arm.

Then a girl walked into the living room. Everyone's mouths flew open. Her hair had been cut into a fresh cut, she was wearing something other than pink, she actually had jeans on as well as combat boots instead of heels.

"Mom..." Roman muttered and looked at his mother. "Who is this?"

"Circe!" Juliet smiled.

"That cannot be her..." Roman mumbled.

"It is. She changed her look when she got out of college." Juliet said.

"No kidding..." Remy muttered. Emile nudged him in the side with his elbow. "Ow!"

"We'll let you kids catch up," Juliet said as she and Romeo walked out of the living room.

Virgil looked at Circe. "Do you remember any of us?"

"Of course I do, Virgil!" Circe smiled.

"You never call me by my name... you used to call me Virgie," Virgil said.

"People change." Circe shrugged and continued smiling.

'The scariest thing is that... she actually sounds genuine!' Virgil thought.
