"My baby first kick? Adorable..isn't that right my love...oh? Whats this? A ring? Isn't it just the cutest little thing?" Pitch said softly looking at you while you and Jack are asleep

"I'll just take that.." He whispered gently holding your hand and slipped the promise ring right off your finger

"I'll see you again my love, with my baby" Pitch said when he disappeared

-next morning-

"Good morning, snowflake" Jack whispered softly rubbing your cheeks

"Five more minutes.." you groaned

"You can have ten my love" he replied when you looked over at him

"Quit being adorable" you replied when he started laughing and wrapped his arms around you pulling you up and into a kiss when you felt something weird

"Jack wait.. Where's the ring?" You asked when you looked at your hands and noticed the promise ring was gone

"Did you take it off?" He asked

"Not once" you answered

"Maybe it fell off" Jack replied getting up

"It can't it fits perfectly, I was wearing it last night" you answered as you searched the floor

"It's fine, it was going to be replaced anyways" Jack replied

"You don't understand how important it is, even if it is just a promise ring" you replied

"I know" he said wrapping his arms around you pulling you into a hug when he kissed your hair

"It was the first thing you ever gave me.." you said softly closing your eyes showing a bit of sadness

"I know.. To make it equal i'll take off mines" he replied when he slipped the ring off of his

"NO! Leave it on!" You said grabbing the ring and putting it back on his fingers when he started laughing

"We aren't married yet, my love" he joked

"Shut up" you replied when North knocked on the door

"Jack, don't forget your online training!" He shouted from across the door when Jack jumped

"Oh shoot I forgot!" He said letting go of you and went to the nightstand and took out his laptop

"You forget about everything" you joked when he looked at you

"Well I try to" he said

"Oh, I didn't mean that" you said laughing a little

"I'll see if I can find the ring" he said when you looked away

"No need to..it'll come back up eventually" you said gripping your hands

"You sure? Usually that would take a long time" he replied

"I'm sure, it's just a promise ring, it's like you said it'll be replaced anyways" you said with a nervous laugh when he looked at you confused

"Uhh.. I thought you said it was important to you?" He asked

"Oh it is, of course I still want it, but no need to be in a rush to find it" you replied

"Oh...okay? I'll still try though" he replied when you nodded

"I'll ask tooth or bunny if they seen it laying around while we were playing charades" you replied

"Okay" he said

"I'll just leave you alone while you're training" you replied

"You sure? You know you're allowed to stay here as long as you want" he said opening the laptop laying on his stomach on the bed

"Well I didn't know that but i'm sure" you replied when he looked down at the laptop

"Okay, love you" he said

"Love you more" you replied closing the door when you sighed and looked at your hands showing specks of black sand
