I fixed my hair and touched up my lipstick before getting out of my car and walking up to Sophia's front door. The blaring music overwhelmed my knocks so I opened the door and tried to look for a familiar face. Since it was Sophia's birthday, I knew there were gonna be some people I didn't know and I was a little excited. I just hope I didn't have to see him.

I made my way through the crowd into the kitchen where I finally saw Sophia tossing some bottles of beer into a cooler. She looked up and her smile engulfed her face. "Y/N! You made it!" She cheered, tossing the last bottle into the cooler and walking over to me.

"Of course I did! Happy birthday!" I smiled, pulling her into a hug. "I thought you were gonna have a small party? This is huge!"

She pulled away and laughed. "This was all Liam. I don't even know half of these people." She walked over and grabbed a beer from the cooler, "Want one?"

"Sure," I shrugged. She popped it opened and handed it to me.

"If I would've known there were gonna be this many people, I would've gotten better booze," she laughed.

"As long as you have enough, they're not gonna care," I smirked.

"True," she nodded. She grabbed a beer for herself and stood beside me.

"To you, the birthday girl," I shouted, lifting my beer in the air.

"To me!" Sophia yelled, clinking our bottles. We laughed and chugged down half of our bottles. We walked into the living room and stood off to the side while everyone else was dancing throughout the house.

"So where is Liam?" I asked, finishing off my beer.

"I think he went to get Andy or something. He should be back any time now."

"How about the other guys? Are they coming?"
"Harry said he was gonna stop by later, I think. Zayn and Louis are with their families tonight so they won't be able to make it."

"What about, you know?"

"I didn't say anything to him. I told Liam not to mention it since I invited you. I didn't want you to be uncomfortable."

"Thank you, Soph."

"Hey, it's no problem. You're my best friend. To friends!" Sophia yelled raising her bottle.

"I don't have anything left but I'll toast to that!" I cackled, clinking my bottle with hers.
We stood and joked around some more until a tall brown headed guy walked up to us.

"Happy birthday!!" He yelled, wrapping his arms around Sophia.

"Todd! I didn't even know you were coming!" She gasped, hugging him tightly.

He laughed and pulled away, keeping his arms around her waist. "Well Liam gave me a call last week and told me about your party. I was kinda disappointed at first," he sighed.

"Why??" Sophia asked, furrowing her brow.

"Because I thought he called me up to tell me you two broke up and he decided he wanted to switch teams."

"Oh my god! You're so funny!" Sophia laughed before giving him another hug. "Y/N, this is my good friend, Todd."

Todd looked over at me and smiled, "Oh! You're Y/N! Soph has told me so much about you! Look at you! You are totes adorbs!" He walked to me and gave me a huge hug.

"Well it's nice to meet you!" I laughed, patting his back.

He moved in between me and Soph so his back was against the wall. "I'll tell you what, Sophie, this is quite the turn out. Your house is filled with gorgeous men. I swear, the second I walked in, I coulda swore I saw an angel dancing over there in the doorway," Todd said, scanning the room.
