Red eyes bored into the fuzzy screen, the intensity of the male's gaze hidden by his unruly hair. With a sharp scream of frustration, his fists slammed into the table of the bar, startling his co-worker. The empty glass beside him clicked against the surface and the sharply dressed mist of a human collected the glasses off the table, knowing Shigaraki well enough.
"Damnit.." Despite his actions, his voice did not rise. But the tone he used was icy.
The tall being of mist stared with his yellow eyes, anticipating an encore of the male's little outburst but to his relief, the bluenette loosened up, his bony shoulders lowering as he slumped back into his seat. The room was silent except for the television in the corner of the room but even then, the atmosphere couldn't be harsher. Despite his lack of skin, he still managed to feel a prickling sensation against his skin and Kurogiri decided to address the elephant in the room.
"I know you're frustrated." He began, running a wipe over the glass cups.
The watchet haired man merely grunted, staring pointedly at the cups stacked along the thin shelves. His fingers twitched.
"But based on how long that fall was, it would be unreasonable to assume she was still alive," Shigaraki glanced at him, not noticing the carefulness of his co-worker's words. "And even if she is still alive, we have a plan B."
But before Kurogiri could elaborate, the male rose, the wooden stool screeching against the floor in response. "And if plan B doesn't work?" He hissed, his eyes narrowing dangerously, his voice taking on a sharp harshness. "We could get caught, nobody has yet to assume even our mere existence, but now, there's a possibility she's still alive." The reminder rang through the room, seeming to silence even the television. "There's a possibility... because we weren't careful."
His voice lowered into a throaty whisper as he leaned over the counter, making sure to hold himself up with only eight of his ten fingers. "We had two plans in mind." His finger stabbed against his temple, his upper lip twitching. "Get rid of the girl and get rid of the Symbol of Peace." His tone, laced with blades, stabbed into the tension of the air, clawing it down bit by bit.
"These two plans were not meant to overlap... but because you were incompetent in getting rid of our first problem now we have to deal with the possibility of getting caught and the new school year." He snapped, his fists once again slamming down on the table. Kurogiri remained silent, knowing he should've known better than brushing off one of Tomura's tantrum. "The new students with training, will probably do anything to protect their Symbol of Peace, which is why it should've been done in the summer!"
....
"Are you done?"
Shigaraki practically growled at Kurogiri but proceeded in childishly flopping back down onto his stool, yelping as he almost fell back. The void man sighed, hoping that the male didn't destroy another stool.
"Do you still have the letter?"
