You had to get in before the paparazzi gathered, knowing they happened to get a bit aggressive during the morning rush. So with no hesitation or ill-willed thoughts, you popped out of bed at the crack of dawn and got ready. The second you stepped onto the cold floor, however, instead of feeling irritated by the sun streaming in a little too brightly or the way your legs seemed to ache, you felt oddly energized.
"Oh well." You had said, moving to your dresser after you had brushed your hair and pulled on your uniform. "At least I don't have to worry bout downing three cups of coffee." You whispered with a grin, your hands opening the first drawer and pulling out a pair of black gloves and metallic arm clasps.
You slid those on, making sure the gloves latched tightly onto your fingers before adjusting the clasps around your forearms. You eyed the metal. It was similar to a flattened, emptied cylinder with a thinner opening at the top for the area just below your wrists. The base was a little wider for cutting off just before your elbow.
You unlatched the little metal hinges and placed them on your forearm, snapping them shut once you knew they were comfortably located. Well, at least as comfortable as a Quirk suppressor happened to be, and left the house, grabbing your backpack on your way out.
Okay Kuroki Y/N..... You might be a little late but it hardly means anything. Sure.. it'll probably be on your record but then again, hospital visits are valid excuses for not showing up to class. I let out a soft sigh and pulled my phone out of my bad. I eyed the screen as it blinked awake, lighting up my face in the grey light of dawn. It's still early...You've got an hour, walk, pick up a water bottle, a sandwich and get to school. You need to regain your body strength.
You stood behind the massive door of the 1-A classroom, listening to your heartbeat drive from your ribcage into your eardrums. D*mn, it was the only thing you could hear. You were just waiting for Aizawa to give me the signal. At least... that's what Nezu had told you.
You shivered for a moment, remembering the small animal figure and his oddly red tea.
Then a voice pierced your focus. "Good work on yesterday's combat training."
OH! That was him. It wasn't hard to distinguish his throaty voice, even with the large, metal door in the way. You pressed your ear as quietly as you could to the door, not wanting anyone to be aware of your presence just yet. But then, your heart dropped a little bit, hearing his words. So they had already begun their training.... great...
"I saw the video and results. Bakugou-"
You perked up.
"You're talented. So don't act like a kid."
You blinked again, this time your eyes widening. Bakugou? He was in your class?! You tensed, thinking back to middle school.
Aizawa continued.
"And Midoriya- You settled it by breaking your arm again."
