So how would someone exact revenge on a person like Jim Moriarty?
I couldn't just kill him. Then hell would surely rain down upon me. How could I come out of this without dying? That was the problem. Staying alive.I wasn't fooling myself. I couldn't outsmart Jim Moriarty one to one. I knew that. So what could I do? What was my advantages at this point? Well first off, it would be safe to presume that my computer skills were superior to his, so my attack had to be technological if it was going to work. It was the only way I would be able to deceive him.
My other advantage was that I had access to Luke's phone. I could monitor their conversations and plan my moves ahead.I had planned and I had waited, and now the day had come. At 6pm tonight Jim and Luke are meeting for dinner on the third floor of the Corinthia hotel in London to talk business. I had known about this since last Wednesday. Over the weekend I had visited the hotel and manually hacked my way into their system. On the following Monday I had visited again and made my last preparations. In other words the stage was set, and the curtain was about to rise.
I had of course visited the library this morning and delivered the memory stick.
It was now 5:48pm and I was currently sitting in the basement of the Corinthia hotel. This entire floor was used as a gigantic storage room, and people rarely came down here. It was perfect. I was watching the feed from the security cameras on my laptop. Everything was ready. My heart was beating so fast, I feared it might just jump out of my chest.
Then I saw him. Luke. He made his way to the elevator in the lobby. There was no one with him. I didn't know what Jim Moriarty looked like, so I was sort out counting on Luke to show me.
Perhaps Jim was already there. My eyes were glued to the screen, as Luke stepped out of the elevator on the third floor and made his way to the restaurant. I tried to guess which on of the tables he would join, but as Luke sat down, the man sitting across from him wasn't exactly how I had imagined Jim Moriarty. I had imagined Jim to radiate authority and power, and though he was wearing an expensive looking suit and had his black hair slicked backwards making him look powerful and wealthy, his facial expression didn't really match his style. The image on my screen wasn't that sharp, but as far as I could tell, Jim looked... bored. There was no sound to the image on my screen, so I spent the time of their meeting studying Jim's body language. One minute he seemed completely relaxed and the next his face would contort into anger. At some points of the conversation, he would even smile and laugh. It went on like that throughout the dinner.
Honestly I was a bit freaked out, was Jim crazy or something? I just had to stay focused and stick to my plan.
43 minutes into the meeting Jim suddenly stood up and straightened his suit. Were they done? Jim made his way to the elevators, and I quickly felt adrenaline spread through my body.Okay it's go time.
