I uncuffed his hands and laid his limp body onto the floor. I then quickly changed out of my costume and stuffed it into the backpack, I had brought with me. I had planned my escape route carefully, but I knew, that I had to hurry. I ran through the basements emergency exit, which led out to a back alley, where I had parked my car. There was a manhole cover in the alleyway, which I had removed during my preparations, making it easy for me to dispose of my backpack and slip the cover back into place.
I drove home feeling the adrenaline cursing through my body. What if they had already found me? Then all of this would have been for nothing. No, you have time, he won't be awake just yet I convinced myself.

The second I reached my driveway, I sprinted through the front door straight to my computer. Okay, I needed to access the back door, I had just created on Jim's phone. I typed away for a few minutes, and I was finally in. My eyes quickly scanned the malware, I had spent years perfecting. It was in fact perfect.

The moment I had spent years preparing for was finally here, and so far everything had gone exactly, as I had planned. With one last click I released the malware into his systems.

"Go fetch" I whispered with a smile.

Just as I got down on my knees and placed my hands on the back of my head, my front door was kicked in. Guess someone finally woke up.

Four heavily armed men entered my house dressed in black body armor.

"No rush" I said with a small smile.

Their movements seemed very professional, as three of them went on to search my house, clearing every room they entered. The fourth man kept his place in front of me, the red dot from the scope of his assault rifle dancing on my chest.
As soon as they cleared my house, they cuffed my hands behind my back, and led me outside where a black SUV was parked. They threw me in the trunk. How rude.

The ride lasted for about 45 minutes.
The sun was setting, but the light was still quite sharp, as they roughly pulled me out of the trunk by my arms.

"Calm down, where's the fire" I mumbled, as they led me through the doors of a huge mansion in the middle of nowhere.

I was placed on a chair with my hands cuffed to the back of it. Touché Jim.

Looking around I figured, that I was in the living room, or at least one of the living rooms of this huge house.

Minutes went by, and my hands were getting numb. I guess, this was a rather uncomfortable position. My heart was hammering, but this time it wasn't out of fear or nervousness, I was excited!

I heard footsteps approaching, and I quickly fixed my posture, as Jim strolled into the room. He was wearing a expensive looking navy-blue suit with a white shirt and a black tie. Had he changed his outfit? He seemed calm and relaxed, as he stopped in front me and tugged his hands into the pockets of his pants.

"Jim Moiraty. Hi.
I thought, I would formally introduce myself this time around."

He stared at me with eyes so dark, they almost looked black. The intensity in them was unnerving. Like a black hole, they seemed to suck in everything around him.

"Clara Jenkins, Clara Jenkins, Jenkins, Jenkins. It doesn't really roll off the tongue, does it?" He questioned rhetorically.

His face scrunched up, as he repeated my name again. His anger was beginning to show.

"I must admit, that you took me by surprise this evening. Kudos to you," he chuckled.

"If only Luke had done his background check properly when hiring you, we wouldn't be in this predicament."
