Plagued (Black Jack x Reader)

CH. 14 Scarlet Cats

A few months had passed since the 'incident.' It was summer again, so the festival was coming soon. "(Y/N), let's go!" Jack said.

"Where are we going?" (Y/N) asked. Jack walked to the coat rack and put on his cape. "The market, I'm buying you a Yukata." He said. Jack held out his arm and waited for (Y/N) to grab on and walk out.

Pinoco wasn't going to come, after what she said, Pinoco didn't want to apologize so until she did; Pinoco wasn't going to the summer festival.

"Jack, you know I don't like going out," (Y/N) complained. "I can just wear my old one, it still fits!" Jack sighed, he would have to do something to get her out of the house.

Eventually, Jack was able to get her out by just begging her to go. (Y/N) got annoyed with it and finally agreed to go. To (Y/N), the trip wasn't all that bad.

The stores there all had beautiful Yukata's, but only one stuck out the most to her. It was all black, but on it were beautiful waterlily's on it, all with different colours, blue, pink, purple...

"Jack, I want that one." (Y/N) said quietly, trying not to draw attention to herself from others. Jack looked at the Yukata for a couple of seconds, he finally said, "I'll buy it."

For the first time, (Y/N) was actually excited to get something. Jack had tried to cheer her up over the spring, but couldn't get her to, So when he saw her really excited to try it on he accepted.

While (Y/N) was out, she thought that it was a really nice day. She understood that Jack was trying his hardest to make her smile for once, so (Y/N) wanted to take him out to the inlet to swim.

Looking through her clothing, (Y/N) struggled to find the bathing suit that last fit her. When she found it, she was astonished by how much she'd forgotten about it.

The bathing suit was really skin revealing, it was a white bikini with a ruffled top. Honestly, (Y/N) didn't want to wear it, but she had promised Jack that she would go out to the inlet.

So (Y/N) had no choice but to wear it, and my, was she embarrassed! When Jack saw her he had no reaction, but his cheeks were slightly pink.

Jack decided to mess with (Y/N) a bit, and splashed water on her. To his amazement, she was able to dodge very quickly, even in the water.

The gym's floor was squeaking with feet, and a basketball being dribbled. The gym coach was blowing his whistle every time a game ended, or a point was scored.

(Y/N) moved fast like lightning. With the ball in possession, she made her way across the court and shot into the hoop. A kid jumped up and blocked the ball, the opposing team was dribbling now.

Blocking the student's way, (Y/N) managed to get the ball back. The game ended with the other student boiling with anger.

"What is it with you?" The student asked after class. He stared into (Y/N) dead eyes, not even threatened. "I don't know." She calmly replied.

It made him even more angry and he shoved her into a wall, not realizing her own power. In retaliation, (Y/N) managed to almost break one of his hands, but was stopped by a teacher.

The next day, he came up to her while she was changing her shoes. "Are you going to try and break my hand again? Or were you bluffing and just made it hurt?" He said.

"Go away." (Y/N) said. But the boy just stood there, irritating her even more and drawing attention to herself as he ranted. (Y/N) grabbed his arm and bent it in half, breaking the bone.
