Plagued (Black Jack x Reader)

CH. 15 Sticky Rain

(Y/N) ran up the Oceanside and into the house, Jack following behind. She set the cat down with a cloth under it on the dining table.

The cat was severely hurt. It has a deep gash on it's shoulder, and his tail looked like his nervous system was showing. "We'll have to further inspections with the instruments you have, but this is quite bad." (Y/N) said in a calm, but assertive voice.

"How do you know what's happening with that cat?" Jack asked. She looked back at him with a cold glare.

"Remember, I have a degree in Biology, your the one who had his license revoked."

Jack scoffed, "Whatever!" (Y/N) washed her hands and put on some actual gloves. "Come on Jack, we have to time to lose! First we're gonna stitch that wound up, then amputate her tail!"

(Y/N) had finally completed her goal with Jack to rescue the little cat. But immediately after, she ran to the restroom in a cold shiver. As she took off the gloves, red markings appeared on her lower arms and hands.

"Dammit!" She shouted. (Y/N) shrieked in pain, she was allergic to the touch of latex, meaning Jack would have to start getting Nitrile gloves.

And -how convenient- Jack walked in to see what was happening. He looked down to see her hands shaking from the burns. Jack picked her arm up by the elbow, and examined her arm carefully.

"There's nothing I can do this time. I can't cure allergies." Jack stated. "I know. It'll pass sooner or later," (Y/N) replied. "But at least the cat is alright!"

Pinoco rose out of bed, it was morning, but it was also raining. She had thought of the way she acted against (Y/N), and finally wanted to apologize for her dumb head.

(Y/N) was up, and was sitting at the dining table, staring out to the ocean. Pinoco had always noticed that (Y/N) was particularly sad on rainy days.

"Hey," Pinoco started. (Y/N)'s gaze broke from the ocean and stared emotionlessly at her. "I wanted to apologize from my behaviour back in February, will you forgive me?"

(Y/N) smiled, and nodded. She quickly went back to her original state though. Pinoco felt a furry animal rub up against her, as it's tail snaked around her leg.

Pinoco looked down to see a small, Norwegian forest cat snuggling her. It purred and trilled in favour of her. Pinoco picked up the ball of fuzz and asked, "Two things, why is there a cat here?"

(Y/N) didn't look at Pinoco, but said, "I found Jack by the inlet last night. She fell from the cliffs while I was talking to him." Pinoco put the cat down and sat next to (Y/N).

"I also have noticed that you are very sad when it rains, why is that?" (Y/N) sighed. She didn't want to talk about it, but she did anyway. "My friend died from the blue-green algae that grew in the lakes of America. It was also raining the day she was infected."

"Come on (Y/N)!" Akira shouted. "I'm coming, jeez!" The two were running from the ruthless bullies, they treated everyone with disrespect and didn't care if they were suspended.

Akira dropped her bag, she had to have it because her schoolwork was in there. It have enough time for the bullies to catch her and pin her to the benches.
