Chapter 39

(Jayden's POV)

I have to do something...

Jayden: Hey!

I said a spell.

Annie and Johnny: Thank you...

They slowly got up.

Jayden: No problem.

(Annie's POV)
It was now my turn to play. I went for Peyton, knowing she would come back to life I twisted her neck and killed her temporarily. She would come back to life because she is supernatural.

Nadia: You stupid-
Annie: Finish that sentence and watch what happens.

I tied her to the tree. I punched her repeatedly until Asher had to pull me back. Jayden said a spell that made Nadia fall asleep. I broke out of Asher's grip and ran towards Nadia about to snap her neck when i heard the loud ringing again. I let out a piercing scream. The ringing was louder.

Peyton: Well...

She said as she stood up.

Peyton: Since you decided to do that... why don't I double the pain?

She chuckled and Jayden ran over to me. She touched my head but nothing happened.

Jayden: It-It's not working!
Asher: What do you mean it's "not working"?!
Jayden: I mean what i just said!

Then a girl with frizzy hair came out of behind the trees. As i saw her mouth move and her hand move up, the ringing stopped and everything went black.

(Lilia's POV)

I saw a beautiful girl stand out from the shadows. Wait- im with Greg. I couldn't make out what she was saying but her eyes were beautiful and her hair and- stop!(You have violated the law😂) I saw Annie had passed out which snapped me out my thoughts.

Lilia: Ann's!

I yelled as i ran over to her.

Peyton: You're good... but not good enough...

As soon as she said that, the other girl rose her hand and Peyton's eyes started bleeding as she fell to the floor. She was gripping her face tightly but loosened up as she fell and died. That works too, and she was dead. Just like that. I turned to the girl not knowing everybody else was thinking the same thing as me.

Everyone(except Annie duh): Thank you.

We heard a mumble and immediately looked at Annie.

Annie: W-what happened?

She said as she slowly started sitting up.

Johnny: Hey, hey, everything's going to be alright... just take a deep breath. And let the pain go away.

(Annie's POV)

I did as told and soon enough the pain went away.

Annie: H-how did-
Johnny: You forget I'm your older brother.
Annie: Right...
Asher: Ann's look, I don't have a problem with this but why didn't you just tell me.
Annie: I-I was scared...
Asher: Wow... the Annie Leblanc was scared?!

He chuckled and everyone helped me stand up. We went back to the hideout and Jayden sealed up my wounds. Oh and we also brought the other girl that helped, with us. I saw Lilia and her talking, and smirked to myself. Cute. Then i saw Greg... They were cute while they lasted.

(Lilia's POV)
It pains me knowing i hurt Greg, but I hope we can still be friends. I was talking to the girl and she told her name was Jillian. What a beautiful name... We realized that it was already morning after all that and William and Lauren got to cooking. I was talking with Jillian again.

Jill: So like... can i have your number? I feel like going back home in about 30 minutes and I still want to talk to you afterwards.

I stared, not knowing what to say.

Jill: Lilia?
Lilia: Oh-uh- yea let me see your phone.

I got her phone and typed in my number and put my name as 'Lilia🤪'

Jill: Cool.

Laur and Will: Food's ready!

Everyone: Coming!

We all sat down and ate. I saw that Annie had ate at least half of her plate and smiled. Progress. It's all we have. The only way we can make it in the world is progress.

(Hah you thought i was gonna end it but no sir.)
(6 months later Annie's POV)

It was 8:30 AM. My wounds were all healed, they left some scars but at least they were gone. Nadia's gang was arrested about a month ago .I was about to get out of Asher's grip when he whined.

Asher: No stay...
Annie: Ash, i need to get up. Please?
Asher: Fine but you owe me a kiss after.
Annie: Ok then.. now let me go!
Asher: No!

We messed around and eventually Asher gave up and let me go.

Annie: Yay thank you!

I gave him a smile and he returned it by laughing instead. I brushed my teeth, curled my hair, and wore a grey crop top with black ripped jeans. Asher got up and hugged me from behind.

Asher: You're so cute...
Annie: Thank you Ashy
Asher: Now where's my kiss?

He said pointing at his lips. I playfully rolled my eyes and gave him a peck. And another. And another.

Annie: Happy?
Asher: Mmm no.

I laughed as he pushed me onto the bed.
