(Asher's POV)
Annie was getting beat up. Too beat up. I'm surprised cause normally she wins all the fights.
(A/N Asher doesn't know of the abusing. Annie uses fights as a cover up.)
Nadia had picked Annie up off the floor and to her height. They said some stuff but I didn't hear. I heard Annie tell Nadia to go to hell. Annie sounded like she was in a lot of pain. I wanted to help her. So I kept trying to push Connor and Matt of of me. I saw Annie knocked out on the floor. Nadia pulled out a gun from Annie's pocket and pointed it at Annie. I quickly pushed Connor and Matt off me as hard as I could. I got out of their grip, ran to Nadia, and I tackled her. Their was a gunshot. I looked at Annie and she was fine. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. Until I felt a fist hit my stomach.
Nadia: How could you?! It was my chance!
Asher: You won't have another chance.
We raced for the gun but then somebody else picked it up. It was Kenzie. She pointed it at Nadia.
Kenzie: I might act like I don't like Annie, but I'm fine with her. So get the hell out of here before I pull the trigger!
I hadn't noticed that Annie's gang had beat up Nadia's gang so bad that they were on the floor again. Round 2 was successful. We won the fight.
Nadia: Oh don't get your hopes up! We'll be back. And be ready Annie! She's still not awake.
Asher: No. Now leave!
Nadia: Mind sending her my message?
She made puppy dog eyes. Just to tease me.
Asher and Jayden: No!
Jayden: Get the hell out of here!
Asher: Now!
Kenzie: I will shoot you and your gang if you don't leave!
(Annie's POV)
I started waking up. I was feeling so much pain on every inch of me. I yelled in pain. Everyone turned to me.
Nadia: Your-
Asher and my gang ran over to me.
Jayden: Are you ok?!
Asher: We're worried!
Carson and the gang: Annie! Respond!
I still didn't say anything it hurt to move any part of my body. Even my mouth. I stayed laying on the floor, scared, in pain, not knowing what to say. I didn't know what to do. I just closed my eyes again and it all went black for the 2nd time.
(Asher's POV)
Nadia: She is such a weakling!
Jayden: You don't know what happens to her at h-
Annie's gang: Jayden!
Johnny: Don't say anything.
Kenzie: LEAVE
Nadia's gang got up and left. I ran back to Annie and thought about what Jayden said. I stood up. Everybody was on the couch next to Annie.
Asher: Jayden... What were you talking about?
Asher's gang except Kenzie: Why do you care Asher?
Annie's gang except Jayden: Nothing!
Jayden: I think it's for Annie to tell you guys. When she's ready. Please don't pressure her.
We sat there in silence. Then we heard a loud thud. It was from Annie. She tried to sit down but fell on her back again.
(Annie's POV)
I woke up and tried to sit down on the floor. Instead I just fell down on the floor and my back hit the floor pretty hard. There was a loud thud and everyone looked at me.
Annie: Ow...
Saying that hurt me. My gang, Asher, and Kenzie ran over to me. Being honest, I was actually cool with Kenzie. We just act like we hate each other.
I stayed laying on the floor while everyone was asking questions. The only one I heard was Asher's.
Asher: Annie, respond to me. Are you ok?
He looked genuinely worried. We looked at each other in the eyes. Then finally everybody shut up.
Annie: I'm fi-ne
I said in pain. I hope they didn't hear the pain in my voice. My voice was cracking though so I'm pretty sure they heard my pain.
Jayden: Annie, you're not fine!
She was worried. Everybody was.
Carson came to me and hugged me tightly. Asher looked at me. He looked... Jealous? Idk..
Carson: At least your alive.
Annie: What d-oes th-at mea-n?
Jayden: Im gonna get you water.
Johnny and Hayden came and hugged me tightly too.
Annie: Ow guys...
Johnny and Hayden: Sorry..
Annie: It's f-ine.
Jayden came back with water. I drank it and my throat felt better. I was able to speak clearly now.
Asher: We never answered her question.
Asher came over to me and picked me up bridal style. I felt a blush crawl up my neck. No Annie! You can't like him! But I do... He probably doesn't like me though. I got snapped out my thoughts when Asher put me down on the couch. I was laying down and he sat behind me.
Annie: So... Carson, why did you say at least I'm still alive?
Carson: Well...
Jayden: Nadia got the gun from your pocket. It fell out when she dropped you.
Asher: But I got out of Connor and Matt's grip and I tackled Nadia.
Carson: There was a gunshot but it didn't hit you.
Annie: Yea no duh. Thank you, Asher.
I fought the pain just to give Asher a hug as a thank you. He hugged back. I looked at everyone.
Annie: Ow.. Thank you all...
Everyone nodded their heads as your welcome. They all went upstairs to relax. That was chaos. Asher picked me up bridal style and I blushed. He took me up to our room. It was 4 PM.
