Love in the storm - Chapter Three

A few months later

In the real world, there is a huge storm in Thomas's area, and that storm is reflected in Thomas's mind where the sides live. [AUTHORS NOTE: This part is not from anybody's POV nor is it 3rd person, it's just "dressing the set" for this chapter] The power is still on, but the weather is HORRIBLE outside the mind palace.

Deceit's POV

Ever since Remus's anxiety attack me and Remus's friendship was growing stronger and stronger every single day, I had started to open up to him about how I wish I was a light side and that I wish the others would realise I had emotions too, seeing as he is a dark side as well and has been for a few months now, he understood all of the things I talked about, it seems that he has opened up to me a lot too, and, across these few months we've started to really know each other. I've realised, Remus is a really good listener! Like, REALLY really, that day, there was a really bad thunderstorm, the light sides were scared as hell but me and Remus weren't really bothered by it.

One day later

Remus's POV

Me and Deceit were having an early dinner (Probably around like,  5:30 or something?) and the lights were starting to flicker, "Oh, we must need to change the lightbulb." I said calmly, "Yeah." Deceit agreed, the light went out, we heard a blood-curdling scream from downstairs, as Deceit has the best hearing out of all of the sides, I knew it must have sounded terrible to him, "Ah shit, the power must be out. Seeing that the lights just screamed like they were being murdered." I said. Deceit ran towards me and clung onto me, "EEK!!" he shouted "Are you afraid of the dark?" I said teasingly while starting to crack up, "What? No! Of course not!" he said while nervously chuckling. I'd sigh, "Come over here, you can snuggle up to me on the couch." I said, still laughing quietly. "U..Uh.. O..Okay" He said, stuttering and blushing baby pink. He'd climb onto my side and nestle his head into my chest. "Ugh, why must you be so cute!?" I'd mutter, thinking Deceit couldn't hear me. "W..What?" He said, blushing bright red on his human side and deep violet on his snake side, "What?" I said, nervously sweating, "What the hell Remus, why did you say that out loud!??!" I thought, having a slight panic but forgetting about it as soon as I saw Deceit cuddling back onto me again, "Uh.. Deceit?" I asked, being a bit nervous but trying to sound neutral, "yeah Remus?" He'd mutter, one cheek pressed up against my chest. "Well, I was thinking... Would it be alright if I called you Dee?" I said, trying really hard to not sound as nervous as I felt. "Yeah sure! In that case, can I call you Rem Rem?" He'd ask happily while lifting his head to look at me, "Uh.. Sure!" I said, trying to not blush but I definitely did show that I was blushing cause he smiled at me and then nestled into the side of my neck, we just fell asleep in each other's arms, denying our love for each other.

Patton's POV

Me, Roman, Logan, and Virgil were just sitting in the living room, chatting about an idea Roman had for a video, and the lights started flickering, "Oh, we probably need to change the lightbulb, I'll go get a new one." Virgil said, standing up to get a new one from the closet. The lights went out, I clung to Logan screaming, Logan calmly held onto me, Roman screamed as well [AUTHORS NOTE: I imagine Roman's scream from that one video where the lights went out, I can't remember which one it was and if it was from the end-scene or not], Virgil just yelled "OH SHIT.", I heard one of the dark sides yell "EEK!!!" from upstairs, I couldn't tell who it was though, "I heard yelling from upstairs, I'm gonna go check up on the dark sides." I said, conjuring a flashlight in my hand and starting to walk towards the staircase, "The dark sides are evil though, why do they matter?" Virgil said. "Well kiddo, whether you like it or not, they do encompass a part of Thomas's personality, therefore they matter too." I said calmly. "I guess you're right dad." Virgil replied with a sigh. I'd walk up the stairs to check up on Remus and Deceit because, as I said, they do encompass a part of Thomas's personality, "Er, Deceit, Remus, I heard yelling, you guys alright-" I said, I saw that Deceit and Remus had fell asleep on the couch together, Deceit's head snuggled into Remus's neck, I walked back down the stairs and said "Roman, you have a new thing to annoy Remus about!" I said cheerfully, "Did you see something cute?" Roman said with a wide grin on his face, "Yes, I saw Deceit cuddling up to Remus, they definitely have a crush on each other!" I said excitedly. "Wait, that gave me a really good idea for a video for Thomas!" Roman said happily, "Yeah? What is it?" I said. "What if, we got Deceit and Remus to interact with one-and-other on camera seemingly for the first time?" Roman said, we would all agree to the idea, "We'll have to wait until after the storm passes for Thomas to film though, because this big of a storm is not ideal for video-filming purposes." Logan said. "Sadly, that is true." Roman replied, "Well, at least we've finally agreed on something for once." Logan said to Roman. We talked a bit more, Roman complained about how he wanted to watch Disney but couldn't because of the power outage, Logan conjured up some candles for light and we all accidentally went to sleep on the couch together.

Remus's POV

I woke up a few hours after me and Deceit fell asleep together on the couch, Deceit was still asleep on me, so I gently said "Dee, wake up!", he woke up and said "Do I have to get up? I was comfy.", "Fine, but just for a little bit longer, 'kay Dee?" I said, noticing it's still pitch black, I'd conjure some candles for light, and Deceit would fall asleep, yet again.

A few minutes later

Remus's POV

I was just reading, I looked down to check on Deceit, and he was blepping with a forked tongue, I had a very strong urge to boop it, and so I did, I took my finger, and just gave his small tongue a little boop. He woke up and blushed "AWWW SO CUTEEEE!!!!" I said, Deceit blushed even harder and said "S..Shut up!!". "Aww do I have a little tsundere?" I said teasingly, he buried his face in his hands but I could tell he was as red as a tomato, I heard footsteps up the stairs, I looked over to see Roman running up the stairs "Hey lovebirds!-" Roman shouted "Roman! Dee has a really cute forked tongue EEEEEE!!!!" I squealed while holding Deceit up like Simba and Deceit was super red, "Wait.. Dee? You call him Dee???" Roman said, starting to crack up, I would blush tomato red as well "ROMAN!" I yelled angrily, I'd summon my mace and start to chase him, "WAIT REMUS I DIDN'T MEAN IT I WAS JUST TEASING YOU!" he would scream while running down the stairs back to light side's territory, once he was back downstairs I'd go back up to my living room while pouting and blushing

Roman's POV

Me, Patton, Virgil, and Logan were playing truth or dare, Patton said "Roman, truth or dare?" I, being me, chose dare, "Hmmm, I dare you to.... Tease Remus!" Patton said, "Gladly." I said, I went up to the dark side's living room, assuming that was where Remus was. "Hey lovebirds!-" I said, being interrupted by Remus squealing "Roman! Dee has a really cute forked tongue EEEEEE!!!!!!" and he held Deceit up like Simba, "Wait, you call him Dee???" I said teasingly, starting to crack up, Remus blushed tomato red and yelled "ROMAN!!" and he summoned his mace and started to chase me down the stairs, "WAIT REMUS I DIDN'T MEAN IT I WAS JUST TEASING YOU!!!" I screamed, running down the stairs "SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT" I yelled, tripping down the stairs and hiding behind Virgil, Remus would go back upstairs and go back to the couch. "Dammit." I said. "I'm giving you a pass for swearing seeing as Remus was about to smack you in the head with his mace." Patton said. "Thanks." I mumbled, snuggling up to Virgil

Deceit's POV

After Remus chased Roman back downstairs he came back, "Hey Rem Rem?" I asked, "Yeah Dee?" he responded, "You know how Roman clearly likes Virgil?" I said. "Yes, of course, it's so obvious to literally EVERYBODY except them." Remus replied, "I know right? Anyways, we should make a plan, to get them together." I said.

MUAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA

Let the prinxiety unfold in these next few chapters! But first Remus and Deceit must come up with a plan!
