LIVIA

It was meant to be a normal day. Livia Wilson was supposed to wake up, bare her teeth menacingly in the mirror, and stomp over to find Grace. After doing the first two, she traveled across Camp Jupiter to find him.

Jason and Livia had an. . .interesting relationship. It began when they were both five years old. Jason had made an oath, a very stupid one in Livia's opinion, and promised he would be her friend no matter the circumstances.

All Livia wanted to do was beat him up. Livia before her mother died - she was two - was a carefree and tenderhearted young girl. After that, she became closed up, rude, and intolerable. Needless to say, not very many people liked her, and she was okay with that.

She was living at Camp Jupiter peacefully when Jason Grace came up to her. They had both been sent there and trained by Lupa around the same time, yet they never interacted.

"Hi," he had said, the scar on his lip stretching from his smile. Livia had simply looked up at him, gave him a once-over, and looked back at the insect on the floor.

He didn't seem to be deterred. "I'm Jason Grace, from the fifth cohort. And you are..."

"Livia," she grumbled, no longer wanting to prolong the conversation. "Go away."

He seemed absolutely ecstatic he had got an answer out of her. "Since we know each others names, we're friends. Sorry, I don't make the rules."

Livia furrowed her eyebrows. Was he kidding? "Listen here, Grace, you have five seconds to run before I beat you up." For a five-year-old, she was aggressive. She counted down until she hit one. Jason ran away, yelling something about an oath.

From that point on, Jason would not leave her alone. They had a weird friendship, with Jason constantly "bothering" - or so she liked to call it - her, and Livia always challenging Jason to battles.

She had challenged Grace to a battle the day before, and was rampaging through the camp. She made it an effort to ask everybody where he was, even Octavian. Finally, as the sun began to set, she went to Reyna and told her the news.

Reyna kept her poker-face, but Livia could see a flash of panic in her eyes. "We must search for him," she concluded. "He is a very important praetor, we cannot afford to lose him."

After muttering, "I'm sure that's not the only reason you're searching for him," Livia marched away. She went to a place she was sure was secluded, and rest her head in her hands.
