Dhruv smiled as he chased the calves across the grazing land. It was early morning and he was in the cow pasture of the palace. He love the animals here. Yagni knew where to find him when he gets back from early trainings. Sure enough, his husband stood there with a smile. Dhruv felt himself blush. That rarely happens but Yagni can make him go all shy with a look.

Yagni embraced him, not minding that the staff were watching.

"All sweaty," said Dhruv, pressing a kiss to his cheek.

"I can always go bath," smirked Yagni.

"Don't you dare," said Dhruv and brought the man's arms around him as they stood and watched the cows graze.

Ekalavya stirred first. Samarth was asleep in his arms. He bent down and pressed a kiss to Samarth's forehead. He opened his eyes and Ekalavya watched as his beautiful face split into a grin.

Samarth looked at his stomach which now houses the heir to Karivaayi throne. Their child.

"I never thought I would have any of this till the day my father asked me if I would like to share my life with you," said Ekalavya. Samarth smiled.

"I didn't think this is all going to happen for me either. I didn't think I will want a man enough to leave my birth home behind. That I would treasure a land like I did my homeland," said Samarth.

"This- I cannot imagine a life without any of this now," said Samarth with a small smile.

"I am glad. I cannot either. I love you my beautiful," said Ekalavya.

Samarth blushed.

"I love you my King," said Samarth. Ekalavya kissed him again.

Avdeyu smiled as he watched his two son-in-laws glare at him. They took care of him well like he was their own father and he loved them as his own children. It was good to see more life in the palace. He wished the rest of the family was here too. Eloy, Mithra and Adharva. They will come soon. Anyway, it is not long before Rishi and Shikhar arrives with their new bundle of joy.

He gives in and have the entire breakfast before him and he see his sons hiding their smiles as they try and focus on the plates. Whipped, the both of them. And he knew his son's wouldn't have it any other way. That is the magic of love.

----------------

Adharva watched amused as Mithraos let Eloy groom his hair. It was a sight to behold. He approached them.

"See what he is doing to my hair," complains Mithraos without heat. Adharva sat down beside them as Eloy rolls his eyes at Mithraos but moves to kiss him. Adharva kiss him back lovingly.

They both looked at Mithraos who narrowed his eyes.

"Oh you are such a child sometimes," said Adharva and kissed him, his love in every gentle press of his lip and flick of his tongue. He broke away and Mithraos looked demandingly at Eloy who smiled fondly as he bent down and kissed him.

"Your hair looks pretty," said Adharva. Mithraos shot him a glare but did not move away.

They were approached by the servants to inform that Shikhar was in pain. All three rushed to the infirmary. The birth was going to be hectic. He saw Shikhar and Rishi.

"Thank god, you are here," said Shikhar with a smile, even through the pain.

Eloy walked over and helped.

Shikhar held tight onto Rishi's hand as he was moved to the huge water pond. It was built specifically for the birth with the water kept warm to necessary level. It was a method devised out of Arthanava. Some travelers had brought the information with them after travel by sea became popular. It was something Shikhar preferred for its ease described and obviously Rishi's presence for at least a period of time.

"Apaa, we will wait  outside," said Adharva taking Shikhar's other hand.

"Yes. I wouldn't have minded you both in here if I thought you both will survive through this or your brother for that matter. Keep Rishi calm when he is sent outside," said Shikhar running a fond hand through Adharva's hair and then patting Mithraos who looked as panicked as Adharva. Shikhar feels sorry for the healer who will assist Eloy's birth. He can see the tantrums now.

Slowly, they both left and Rishi was with him inside the water tub. Once they reached the second stage, the pain got rather difficult and Rishi was getting tetchy. Shikhar leaned against him.

"Love, it is time for you to go outside. I don't think you can stand watching me in more pain. It will make all this difficult for them too," said Shikhar pressing a kiss to Rishi's cheek  as he said that and nodded to Eloy and the healers.

Rishi wanted to protest. But he knew Shikhar was right. Eloy walked over.

"Brother, I will take care of this and make sure Apaa and the little one and alright," said Eloy. Rishi nodded, patted Eloy and then pressed a firm kiss on Shikhar's lips and walked out.

---------------------

Water births were less hectic, according to the healers. Eloy and Shikhar took their word on it as neither of them had any prior experience. Eloy got into the pool with Apaa and held his hand while the healers checked the crowning. Eloy was not sure he wanted to give birth after he saw the pain Shikhar was in. However, then, the baby was out. Eloy got him out, cut the cord and soon the healers took over. Eloy let the healers patch up Shikhar while he held his nephew who was screaming his little lungs out and showed him to Shikhar who was crying. There was a smile on his lips as he cried, touching his son's face.

"He is going to be just like Rishi," said Shikhar, letting Eloy lay him down on his chest. Eloy smiled and nodded. He went and opened the door and the three men rushed in. Rishi reached Shikhar first and there, Shikhar held their son, as healers instructed and handed him over to Rishi who was crying. He pressed a kiss to Shikhar's head before taking their son in his arms and beamed.

"He is going to be like you, kind and noble," said Rishi.

"I think he would be like you. But maybe, we shouldn't burden him with our expectations," said Shikhar fondly. Rishi looked at Shikhar for a moment and then smiled.

"True," he said. Shikhar then looked at the other two.

"Come on, see your nephew," he said as he let the others help him to the bed. Eloy watched with a fond smile as the two emperors stared in awe at their nephew who was in Rishi's hand. Then Eloy shooed the two emperors out and let himself out to let Shikhar have some privacy to feed his newborn.
