Rose slowly ran her fingers over the scars

Rose sighed as she ran her hand through her hair, using her other hand to unzip her crop top. Letting it slide down her and onto the floor, Rose looked at herself in the mirror. Scars on her torso, Rose slowly ran her fingers over the scars. Closing her eyes as she hugged herself. The memories of her father, her teen years going through her mind. Telling herself that she wouldn't go back, but now, here she is. She is back and leading again. Rose sighed as she opened her eyes, taking her hands off of her torso. Rose walked away from the mirror that was leaning against the wall. Being only in shorts as she walked out of her bedroom and to the living room and kitchen. Passing the living room area and she walked to the fridge, opening the fridge looking inside. The light from the fridge shining bright being the only light in the room at the moment. Rose didn't care much for light, she found comfort in not knowing what could come, it's kind of how she lived her life so she got used to it. Taking a sprite can out of the fridge, shutting the fridge, turning around and placed the sprite on the counter. Going over to the light switch, flicking the switch up as the light turned on. Taking a moment to adjust to the new light, as she turned around she yelped.

"What the fuck!" She yelled. Sitting right at her kitchen her counter was none other Rio. The thought that she was just in a bra and some high waisted shorts not even in her mind. Walking over and grabbed her sprite.

"Hello to you too, baby girl," Rio says with a smirk. Rose rolled her eyes at his nickname.

"How did you get in here?" Rose questioned glancing at her door. "You know what, don't tell me," Rose says taking a sip of the sprite. Rose opened the draw she stood next to, taking the share of money she got from helping the mothers, throwing it on the counter. "You can go now," Rose said with a sweet smile.

"That's not why I'm here," Rio says pushing the money back to Rose. Rose looked at the man confused.

"Then why are you here?" Rose set her sprite down as she walked over, walking over to the counter looking Rio in the eyes.

"The tattoo on your shoulder blade," Rio said bluntly. Rose chuckled lightly as she walked over so she was on the same side as Rio. Standing next to the sitting man.

"What about it?"

"Well, baby girl, if I'm not mistaken that's the symbol for a certain gang called 'The Wolves'," Rio says. Rose just nods not wanting to say anything. "So are you the leader or just a member?" Rio questions as he got off the stool, the two stood face to face. Rose shivered at the fact at how close they were. Just like the time she first time she saw him, her knees were weak and her breath hitched.

"I think that's above your pay grade," Rose spoke, Rose's eyes scanned Rio's face and Rio's eyes did the same to Rose. Rio smirked at her answer. Rio's eyes started to scan her body, seeing her scars on her torso, his eyes traveled back up to look back into her's.
