Rose rubbed Annie's shoulder as the three sat in silence. Beth and Rose weren't on good terms but Annie was upset and she needed them. So there they sat, Annie and Beth with wine and Rose with a glass of whiskey. They sat in silence because Annie didn't want to talk and they respected that. Soon the door of the kitchen opened and Rub rushed in.

"They have him," Ruby said quickly. The three girls turned to look at her, all of them confused.

"What?" Beth asked placing her wine down on the coffee table.

"Uh, the kid, the...the gangbanger, the one bleeding up in Emma's room." Soon they all understood, Rose groaned and just grabbed her class.

"Eddie, my dude. I love him. Great party man." Rose said and she could feel Beth's glare of disappointment. Annie chuckled and Ruby just stood there in a panic.

"Who has him?" Annie asked, her voice sounded calmer than a few minutes ago.

"The cops," Ruby answered. "The FBI and he is talking. He is talking to them." Ruby said the last sentence very slowly.

"Wait what?" Beth asked as Ruby just passed back and forth.

"Oh my god, you guys. There is no toilet paper, and.. you have to go right there in front of everyone. Oh my god. The place is literally for animals. Oh..and... drink up because jail wine? Oh, jail wine is brewed in a toilet with ketchup and bread." Ruby ranted, Rose loved these crazy moments.

"Bread?" Annie questioned loudly. Rose chuckled that Annie only questioned bread.

"Bread is where I threw you?" Ruby questioned the girl. "The toilet you're good with?"

"The toilet I understand, because you have to have somewhere to put the--" Annie tried to explain but then Beth tapped her on the shoulder.

"Bread is yeast, so it ferments. We have to tell Rio." Beth then said and Rose almost spit up her drink, they all looked at her. True Rose told Rio they had Eddie, but she didn't tell him that he was talking.

"Why? I mean I bet he already knows. No need to tell him." Rose said and Beth looked at her with a slight surprise, then a smirk.

"That his boy talking to the FBI? No way." Beth said. Rose sunk a little in her seat, Annie chuckled at her and Rose just glared at her best friend.

"If we tell him, he'll kill him," Ruby said lightly. "I mean right?" Ruby asked and then looked at Rose.

"Uhhh, maybe. I don't know." Rose didn't know how to answer. Rose liked Rio and she knew that she should've told him but she doesn't know what he is saying, so there wasn't a point.

***Next Day***

Rose hit her pen against her desk as she there looking at her computer. Expenses and what not were shown on the bright screen, the only light in the room was coming from the computer. The door to the office opened and light from the bar came in.

"Rose? Oh no, you're turning to a vampire. I knew this was gonna happen." Kayla joked as she stepped inside. Rose groaned and stopped tapping the pen, Kayla then flipped on the light switch on. Rose closed her eyes and the light burned them. Taking a moment or two before opening her eyes again.

"Do you need anything?" Rose questioned.

"Just wanted to check up on you. You haven't been very talkative since you got shot." Kayla said and Rose put a hand on her stomach.

"I'm fine. Is that all?" Rose said quickly trying to get Kayla out. Kayla stood here in the doorway looking at her sister. Rose would always talk to Kayla but she could sense that Rose didn't want to. Kayla sighed and walked out shutting the door behind her. Kayla walked over to Mark and Taylor and sighed.

"That was fast," Taylor said.

"She didn't talk," Kayla spoke with some sadness in her voice.

"Not even to you. Whatever is going on must be serious." Mark said. Kayla looked back at the office door and sighed.

***Night***

"Y'all ready to get back in business?" Rio questioned as they walked. Rose stayed behind and looked down while listening to everything.

"What did you have in mind?" Ruby asked.

"Just need you to pick up a truck for me," Rio spoke.

 "In Canda?" Annie asked.

"No, right here. Parked in a garage off I-75." Rio said, seeming to have everything figured out. Rose knew that this was a setup, he already found out his boy was talking. Rose just looked around and back to the ground. She didn't speak, she just walked behind the group.

 "What's in it?" Beth asked.

"You ain't gotta worry about that. Just go get it, and we're good to go." Rio said and then stopped at an entrance into the warehouse. Rose bumped into Annie, not realizing they had stopped. Everyone looked at her and smiling awkwardly she backed up a bit. "I thought you all would be more excited than this," Rio said because the three girls were just looking at each other than having smiles on their faces. "But if you don't need to get back to work---" Rio said about to go back inside.

"Oh, we do," Ruby said stopping him.

"There's something we need to talk about though," Beth said.

"Yeah, uh, none of us know how yo drive stick. I mean everything's automatic so I just never learned." Ruby said stopping Beth from speaking any further. "You know what? It'll be fine. It's not an 18-wheeler so problem raised, problem solved." Ruby said with a slight chuckle.

"Problem not solved, because there is that other problem," Beth said with her voice raised slightly.

"Which is a much bigger problem," Annie said agreeing with Beth.

"Are you bitches tryin' to do this or not?" Rio asked, his eyes though were on Rose as she had her back turned to the group.

"Hey we got 99 problems but this bitch ain't one, okay," Ruby spoke laughing once more. The two sisters looked at her confused. "So we're in like Flynn. Where are the keys?" The sisters gave up trying to tell Rio and he took the keys out handing them to Beth. The three of them turned and started to walk back. When Rose saw their feet move she started to move to but then was pulled back. Turning she saw Rio looking at her concerned.

"Babygirl, you okay?" He asked Rose, the three mothers stopped and turned to look at the two. Rose never looked up at Rio.

"I'm fine." She said.

"You don't look fine." Rose slowly put a hand on her stomach and tried to walk away but Rio still held her arm.

"I swear I'm fine. Please let go." Rose said quietly, Rio nodded and let her go. Rose looked up at Rio and gave him a sweet smile, her hand still on her stomach. Her finger pressed on the spot that she was shot. Rose heard the footsteps of the three moms walking away.

 "Want a drink?" Rio asked.

"No. I don't have the time." Rose simply said and walked away.
