Kayla sat with Mark on the bar stools while Taylor was on the other side cleaning cups. There was no music playing and everyone was just sitting and talking quietly. Mark ran her hand down and up Kayla's back as she has tear's down her face.

"How did he even find her?" Taylor asked Mark.

 "I don't know."

"I think it was that girl Annie," Kayla spoke though you could barely hear her voice.

"Annie?" Taylor questioned.

"Rose's friend from school," Mark said. Taylor nodded slightly. No one knew why Rose wanted to go to school instead of homeschooling like the three kids. Rose would always talk about a girl named Annie and her sister, in fact at high school is where she met Ezra. Of course, Rose's father found out everything about Annie and her sister and that sister's friend just in case anything ever happened to Rose. So everyone knew why they looked like and who they were, Rose is their leader, friend, and family so if anything happens to her someone could die or just get hurt bad. "Let's not going balming her. Annie doesn't know about Rose's 'other' life." Mark said with air quotes around the word other.

"Yeah. I'm just happy I found Rio. I think he cares for her." Kayla said.

"Sure he does," Mark said with a roll of his eyes.

"Mark not everyone is going to hurt Rose," Taylor said as she walked around to go sit on the other side of Kayla.

"Really? Shall I remind you what has just happened to her." Mark argued.

"Yes, but not everyone is after her. She is the leader of a gang so there are people out there after her. Though everyone in this room cares for her, the friends she has outside this gang cares for her, and Rio can care for her. I know you two are like the last thing you two have to a family..."

"Excuse me," Kayla groaned.

"Blood family. You need to stop worrying that everyone is going to hurt her." Taylor finished. Mark sighed and ran his hand through his hair.

"I guess your right. Though we do need to find Ezra." Mark said changing the subject.

"We could always talk to umm you know...." Kayla didn't know how to finish the sentence. The subject she was about to bring up is a touchy subject but if they could talk to anyone else she would never bring him up. "Kristen," Kayal spoke in a small voice.

"What?" Taylor asked trying to believe she didn't hear what Kayla just said.

"He knows more about other gangs than anyone. He would know where Ezra hides out." Kayla said trying to be reasonable. Mark groaned and put his head down on the bar.

"We can't," Mark said low.

"Why not?" Kayla questioned.

"We're not direct family, the only people allowed to see him would be a blood direct family member. Like mother, father, sister." Mark explained.

"So we have to have Rose go." Taylor sighed. Mark nodded.

***With Rose***

"Ah fuck. What is wrong with my body." Rose groaned as she moved in the bed she laid in. Rose looked over to see Rio asleep in an armchair. Looking around the room, it was a nice room but the thing she laid in was like a hospital bed. Moving the blanket and every move she made was just pain.

"Stop before you hurt yourself worse." Rose stopped as she heard Rio's voice.

"Good morning to you too," Rose spoke and gave him a small smile. Rio stood and stepped over to the bed Rose laid in.
