Because I feel bad about not updating in forever, I'm gonna try to get this chapter done and published as soon as possible for those who actually still read this. So here is the next chapter. Enjoy! ^.^
I glanced behind me as Craig was closing the door.
"Well there is no going back now.' I thought to myself. I looked forward again. I could hear fans chanting. I could hear a lot of conversations going on at once. It was slightly overwhelming.
"It's a lot to take in, isn' it?" Craig asked. I nodded.
"Just think; you haven't seen all the people yet." He said, chucking. I groaned.
"I don't like a lot of people." I whimpered.
"It's not that bad, I promise." Craig said, walking down a hallway. I followed closely behind him.
"So what are you favorite Escape the Fate songs?" Craig asked, as we walked into a room that had ETF on the door.
"Umm. Something, Bad Blood, Gorgeous Nightmare, Ungrateful, stuff like that. Why?" I asked, sitting down in the first chair I saw.
"Nothing. Just curious to see how much you actually like us." Craig said, walking to a mirror and messing with his hair.
"Ok then." I said, messing with my nails. I suspected that he was up to something.
"Well I'm gonna find the rest of the band. We go on in five minutes. Stay here until I get back." Craig said, walking to the door. He opened the door and disappeared down the hall. I heard someone talking on stage. They were saying something about this being the loudest venue that they have been to in a while. I smiled.
'I wish I was brave enough to sing in front of people. I wish that could be me.' I thought. I sighed and looked around. I was bored so I got up and walked around. I had never seen a famous person's dressing room. They had ETF posters everywhere. Probably to make the band feel good. I was in the middle of staring at one of the posters when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I squeaked and spun around. I was face to face with Craig.
"HOLY SHIT!!! You scared the hell out of me." I said, trying to catch my breath.
"I'm sorry. I just wanted to come and get you." Craig said, trying not to laugh. I smacked his arm.
"This is not funny. I could've had a heart attack." I said. "Now let's go."
I followed Craig out of the room and down the hall. He led me to a door that said "Backstage". I looked at him and he smiled.
"I figured you wanted to be as close to the stage as possible. So this will have to work. You are practically on stage." He said, chuckling.
"Craig, your on in two." One of the stage technitians said.
"Ok. Well I have to go. So have fun." Craig said, grabbing the mic that someone handed him. Craig went to the side of the stage, where the rest of the band was standing. He took a deep breath as the tech guys finished setting up. The tech guys disappeared and Craig nodded. Escape the Fate ran on stage and began the show.
"Hello, Seattle! How is everyone tonight?" Craig yelled into the mic. The crowd went nuts. Craig laughed and waved to the crowd.
"That is awesome. The first song we have for you tonight is "You're Insane"." Craig said. The band began the song. The first few notes rang out and the crowd screamed. It was a deafening roar. I covered my ears and looked around. Everyone acted normal. I realized how strange I looked. I took my hands off my ears and let them hang at my sides. As ETF finished the song and started the next one, Craig looked over.
"Seattle, please welcome Blaiz du Barry!" Craig said, smiling and looking at me. My eyes went wide and I stared at him. Next thing I know, someone is shoving a mic into my hand and pushing me towards the stage. I froze as soon as they let me go.
Well here is the end of another chapter ^.^ This one is kind of long, and I'm sorry. But I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Well I'm gonna go work on the next chapter. So see you all later. :)
