incoming facetime call from mattia

I didn't know what to do, Weather to answer or not, I was nervous, extremely nervous. I, as of any other girl that was put in my positon would never think a guy looking like that would accidentally text you. That's just years of luckiness and blessings.

I let it ring for some more, before nervously touching the answer button. The facetime call went black, for my side and his side, a few seconds after, the call was secured and was back on connection.

And there he was; it was really him. The guy in the picture, the same exact guy. It was true, he wasn't a catfish, not even close to one. I let my beart rapidly beat at such fast pace; I didn't know what to say or do.

He looked like he was laid down on a bed, wearing that same robe in the picture he sent me and a chain was around his neck. He looked extremely hot, like whew chile. This guy was texting me? This guy was eager for my attention? This is the guy that sent me really bad pick up lines? I couldn't believe it. If it's a dream or not, I did not know, but I certainly hope it isn't.

"So you gone say something or?" His voice spoke up. God, his voice was so deep and yet so sexy. I could listen to it for hours, it was like therapy.

"Uhm," My face flustered, I was embarrassed. How long was I staring at him? God, I sure hope it wasn't for such long time or else he'll lose interest in me, I did not want that, "Sorry." I softly apologized to him, he chuckled in return.

"You're extremely beautiful, Eva," He spoke up again, Great, now I'm as red as a tomato. Not to brag, I do get the compliments on a daily, although it does get real annoying; being catcalled on the streets, and getting harassed is not cute nor fun, and plus, everyone is beautiful in their own way, so I see myself just like any other girl, "God, A goddamn angel." He complimented.

"Stop that," I giggled, covering my face with my free hand, I didn't want him to see my now extremely red face, "I'm completely opposite of that," I paused, I think now is the time to tell him he looked like a greek god, so I did, "You look like a greek god, are you secretly one?" I didn't think it would come out of my mouth. I embarassed myself. Great, just great.

"Hm," He licked his lips, as I peeked my eye from my hand that was covering my face, I cannot look at him now, esepcially after I called him a greek god. That was not supposed to come out, "Is that so, Eva?" He smirked, he had the typical boyish smirk, if you get what I mean, but a smirk coming from him, felt different.

"Uhm-" I got cut off by the sound of my bedroom door opening, my older brother, Evan, stood there, his hand was firmly gripped on my doorknob. I instantly ended the facetime call with Mattia. I didn't want Evan to know I was on the phone with a guy, he'd kill him and then me. He was that type of brother, the over-protective one yet asshole type.

"Eva?" He cocked an eyebrow up, looking at me with a confused expression on his face, crap, he probably heard I was on the call, with a guy, "Who was that?" He asked, his jaw was now clenched. I had to make up a character in mind, a character that I'd use to portray as Mattia.

"Uhm, a friend from school," I replied, instantly mentally face palming myself, I haven't mentioned if it was a he or she, now I'm completely stuck, "She recently got in touch with me." I finished off. I prayed he'd believe me.

"Yeah? What's her name?" He asked, clicking his tounge. It's a habit of his when he's either mad, or suspicious. Let me tell you about Evan, he's going into senior year in the same exact high school, while I'm going into junior year. Last year, and basically my whole life in high school, and middle school, It was extremely annoying seeing him in the halls and glaring at every boy that comes up to talk to me. I don't get how half of my friends have a major crush on him, how the hell would he end up as a boyfriend. I couldn't bare to imagine that, I did not want one of my friends hurt because of my asshole brother.

Earth to Eva, I needed to come up with a name so Evan wouldn't go crazy, "Stephanie." I answered. Stephanie in fact someone from my english class, she's a quiet girl though. Literally, zero words would come out of her mouth. She's just in her own space and world.

"Stephanie Loughty?" He furrowed his eyebrows at me, giving me a look as in 'since when'. I mean, I wouldn't blame him. Never in my whole life have I ever talked to this girl, "Interesting, alright well, lunch is ready." And with that, he finally left my room, but did not close the door behind him. I hated when he does that and I knew exactly why he did that; to listen in on my calls or whatever the hell would I do.

I looked at my phone, I had tons of messages from Mattia that I'd check after lunch. Thank god my phone was on silent or else I'd be in deep trouble and Evan would instantly find out.

I left my phone in my bed before walking out my room and heading downstairs for lunch. The smell of Burgers hit me. Burgers on a summer afternoon? That's a hell yes from me.
