I sat alone at my camp preparing a squirrel for dinner I was starting to get tired of just eating squirrel. I was having a hard time finding anything else. It was silent, something I was used to by now. I have been on my own for weeks.

Blizzard, my husky who is an extremely small puppy growled notifying that something or someone is nearby.

I grabbed my bow quickly and easily knocked an arrow into place and pulled the string back, without hesitation I started aiming at the trees. Ready for anything.

Just then a lonely walker stumbled into my camp. I released the string causing the arrow to fly into its head. The walker's limp body fell to the ground with a quiet thud.

I look at the walker before I retrieved my arrow and put it back in my quiver. It's rotting skin smelled something awful, eyes were a red color. It had a huge bite on its neck dried up blood around it. I sighed and turned around.

Blizzard immediately calmed down when the walker hit the ground.

I sighed and sat down. I really can't stay alone out here any longer. I quickly finished eating grabbing my stuff and taking off, blizzard following not far behind.

Not sure where I was going but I just kept walking straight hoping to find something useful.

I eventually wandered out of the woods to see a highway. I tilted my head as I looked at the sign "Atlanta 1 mile we should go there huh girl?" I glanced at Blizzard.

She wagged her tail and barked quietly. "Well let's get going then," I said with a giggle as I walk towards Atlanta.

I had finally arrived. I walked down the isolated streets of Atlanta keeping an eye out for anything dangerous or useful. The occasional Walker stumbling towards us but I take care of them quickly before more come and I get overpowered.

The streets of Atlanta were peaceful and quiet as the can get until some idiot with a horse gallops down the street I was about to turn on.

I watched curiously as he turns the corner only to give a panic look and turns in my direction "Woah Woah!" He said as he galloped towards me.

A huge heard following him. "Blizzard, stay close," I ran towards the man and grabbed him by his arm since he fell off his horse.

"This way!" I yell over the loud groans and moans of the dead, he nodded. We run towards the tank, adrenaline running through our veins. He started shooting walkers that got to close. I just stabbed them with my hunting knife.

I slide under the tank scraping my arms on the gravel, opening the hatch, and climbing in the man doing the same I reached below and helped blizzard in then shut the hatch closed.
